Is this right?

Postby sister » January 7th, 2005, 1:02 pm

I just finished my third meal for today (my 1st day). It's a little strange feeling like I'm eating all day. I'm following the plan but it seems like hardly any time passes and it's "time" to eat again. I suppose it's right if we eat every 3-4 hours, I don't know why this seems weird to me. Between meals and water, we are pretty much constantly consuming something, right?

I'm thankful day 1 is going so well. The test will be suppertime for the entire family. I expect to ace it!

Yep - you should be almost constantly putting something in your mouth - to get in over 100 oz of water, you're going to have to. Once you get past the first few weeks, the physical hunger departs and you're in a groove, sometimes the hardest part is remembering to eat!

The best part of this diet is virtually no true hunger pains (after the first few days anyway). The next best part is that between the water, diet drinks, diet jello, pickles, boullion, and celery and supplements every three hours... there is almost always something you can "have" if you just want to be putting something in your mouth (note: this is different than being truly hungry).

Howdy Sista!! ( sorry couldnt resist...Mike beat me too it!! )

I didnt get to welcome ya on your first post..but HI and welcome to the forum!! I think its GREAT that we feel like we are having "something" all the time!! I feel satisfied and full most of the day...and its GREAT!!
When I first started Medifast...I felt like a baby...
I ate every few hours
took naps
went to the bathroom alot!!
and wanted to cry the first week!!!

It was like having "feedings" every 3-4 hours..but thats what we are doing...putting all the good stuff in our bodies to keep us in Ketosis and keep our metabolism revved up!!
when you think about it...we are "PAMPERing" ourselves..our bodies..getting them ready to be HOT!! :)

CANT WAIT TILL THE NEXT FEEDING!! lol
HAPPY SHAKIN
