Is this a realistic goal?

Postby FORMOMMY » February 27th, 2006, 12:51 pm

My niece is getting married on June 10th. I would like to be down 50 lbs by then. Do you think that is a realistic goal or am I kidding myself?

I think you are being realistic You already have 18 down leaving you 32 to go...32 in 14 weeks is 2.29 pounds per week. Heck 60 pounds would be 3 pounds per week. You actually have 14 weeks and 5 days! I think you'll make your goal and then some :)

Only you know what kind of a loser you are. I could stop eating completely and NEVER lose that much that quickly. Other people can lose it in no time.

Dogma - I had to laugh!

Only you know what kind of a loser you are.

The one time I WANT TO BE A LOSER!!! HAHAHAHAHA!!!

Well, all I can do is try and I know that no matter how much I lose by then, I will have at least lost something! Right!

I think you can do it for sure. Drink drink drink that water! My weight loss slows if I slack on the water intake for a few days...that might be key to helping you reach your goal.

I am still working on losing 35 by March 11. I am down 26.5 so far, so I'm pushing to make sure I don't mess up my water intake and hoping I make it!

Thanks - I will do my best to reach that goal. As for the water - I have no trouble there. I drink anywhere from 100 - 130 ounces a day!!!! Yes, I am in the bathroom more than my office - HA!!!

I look forward to the journey with you good folks! I know that no matter what, I will feel better in June with whatever losses I have than if I didn't do this at all. Aren't I profound - HA!

Have a good shakin day everyone!
