I'm so sorry this happened to you... but you know what? I've learned that EVERYTHING happens for a reason, even when we can't see it right away... there's a Grand Plan at work here... just trust in that and go fwd with your good ol' God-given noodle in tact... the prize will reveal itself soon enough!

Hi . I really need to post this morning. I just got a call from my Mom and she told me that my aunt died. She was such a sweet lady. And relatively young, too. She was only about 55 yrs old. She had heart and liver problems. I know she is not in any pain anymore. At least we can find some comfort in knowing that, and knowing that she is in heaven. She was one of the most faithful Christians I have ever known. I guess God dint want to leave her here on Earth any longer, cuz when it comes to pickin out his angels, he only wants the best.Please just keep my family in your payers.

You got it darlin! Liftin up your family as I type. Things have been tough for you this year. You are learning some very valuable lessons about yourseld. You are MUCH stronger than you ever thought. We are here if you need to vent or cry or anything else. Where does your family live?

Hey Supermom. Thank you. My family are all in Missouri. It makes me very sad that I wont be able to go home for her funeral. We really just cant afford it right now. Not with this salon and all. I would have to find someone to run it for me, and right now I cant affod to pay anyone. I am just praying that the darn thing sells soon. We have someone intersested in it, we should find out Sunday if he's gonna buy it. It is just such a burden. Especially when there is a death in the family back home. I can deal with not being able to go home for family reunions, and weddings, and even the few christmases I have missed, but when a loved one dies, you want to at least be able to say goodbye one final time.Plus, I am sad that I cant be there for for my cousins, and my uncle, and my dad, since it was his sister. Ok, I have got to pull myself together here and stop cying. I am at the salon right now, all I need is for a customer to walk in and think I am a crazy person. But thank you so much for keeping us in your prayers. It means so much!

Hi everyone. Sorry Ive been MIA for a little bit. Hubby has been getting ready to leave for just a week long deployment to Virginia today(Marines ). So I have been spending time with him. Last night he took me to Ruth's Chriss for the first time. Partly because he was leaving, and partly to celebrate my passing the written test for HPD!!!YAY! Finally a tad bit of good news, ya know. I go on July 30 for the psych. eval, and orientation! They have switched things up a bit, now they put you through this next step of their testing, and save the physical performance test for last. Im stoked anyway. I want to do this for so many reasons. I think I will write a post later on tonight about those reasons. But anyway, about that restaurant we went to. Let me tell you, for anyone who has never tried Ruths Chriss Steakhouse, you must! You havent lived until you have tied the filet mignon. It was the most tender steak I have ever had, just melts in your mouth. Definately pricey, so I know I will only be able to go there on special occasions. Anyways, I am off to the salon...yet again...wish me luck on the people buying it tomorrow.
