Hey everyone! Just thought I would share with ya that I went today and took the written test for Metropolitan Police Recruit for honolulu. I think I did pretty well, wont know for 2 weeks, though. If I did well, then I will have to take the physical fitness test. I am pretty sure I can made it. But I tell ya what, a year ago, there is no way I'd even be considering this. I was waaaaay too out of shape to do something like this. I will keep you posted.

That's great Sheila. I am very interested to know how things go for you. Isn't it fun to see a shift in your thought regarding what you feel you can and cannot do ?

Still no word on the salon sale, Dede. Thanks to all for your encouraging words. I am just waiting on the date for the physical part now. My hubby is a Marine, so he has been helping me condition for the running part of it. its not that much, and they give you alot of time to do it in...at least when you compare it to a Marine's physical fitness test. But I think its safe to say you wont be seeing me joinin' the USMC!LOL. I dont know how my hubby does it. He gets up at 5 am every morning and runs 6 miles. Since he has lost quite a bit of poundage, it has become so much easier for him to run. I am very proud of him.He has been very supportive through my medifast journey. I know Im very lucky to have him. :D

Hey guys. Well, the lady who was interested in the salon called us last night. She decided against buying our salon, but get this.. :( ..she is going to start her own from scratch, and wait, it gets even better, it is going to be right around the corner from my salon. What a slap in the face! I mean, we were so helpful to her, because of course, we thought she was going to buy it. Man do I feel like a sucker! I was so disappointed, gues what I wanted to do? If you guessed"EAT", you'd be right. And that is exactly what I did......I ate a bowl of MF oatmeal. My hubby was so aggravated after getting the call from her, he just said that he is glad he is a Christian now, otherwise her would have used some choice words. But Oh well, thats business. Bad business, but business nevertheless. I do believe in Karma, and I think Karma will come back to bite her in the bottom. I just feel that was so underhanded. Anyways, hubby and i talked it over, and we are going to cut our asking price waaaaay down, and we may have another potential buyer. Please keep us in your prayers that we can sell this thing. Not tryin to get rich from it, but would at least like to break even if possible. Thanks for letting me vent! :x
