A week from Saturday is my husband's company Crawfish boil. That is my ultimate weakness....I absolutely love Crawfish.....it is a delcasey of the South, for those who don't know what it is....an it's my first time having them this year.....I know I am going to be hungry for I have a class that morning...and I'll be coming from that to the picnic.....it's going to be hard....but I hope I can do it....

Are you on the 5-and-1 or the full plan? They're boiled, so aren't they OK as your lean, as long as you have some veggies alongside?

If you're worried about being too hungry, can you grab a bar or something right after class, or maybe sneak one during a bathroom break BEFORE the end of class? It'll be a lot easier to have control if you don't let yourself go hungry.

Just don't dip them in butter. Also, don't eat the corn on the cob or the potatoes. You are so right. It will be hard. I personally don't care for them. Probably because they still have their eyes. But, to each his own. I think the basic seasonings they use will be okay. Just drink lots of water (there will be a lot of salt involved, I am sure) and like Robin said...don't let yourself get hungry. You will do fine. Just you wait and see. Have a little faith in yourself.

Michelle- You can do this. Like Robin and some others said just have it as your protein and have some veggies with it and they are so right about not going hungry. Also eat them slowly so they last and you would be amazed at how many it will take to make up your 7oz.

Michelle

The secret to going out to eat is having a shake one hour before you go. Blend your shake in the blender with lots of ice and water so that you are so hydrated it will make you feel so full that there is no way you can overeat.

Eat slow and drink lots of water or diet soda.

I like what Nancy says to me when we eat out together. She says "I remember what it tastes like, and I can enjoy it again some day but not while I am in the losing state of the program".

It works if you have the right mind set when you go out.

You can do it - :yeah: We have confidence in you.

You CAN do it! Don't dip them in any sauces and get some veggies and you'll do GREAT!

If you don't want to risk it, grab your bar, grab a drink and hang out, but I think you can do it!

Didn't work out like I wanted it too.

On my way back from class on this day my vehicle broke down. My husband got angry cause he had to work that morning and I had called him to come and pick me up. So we didn't even eat any crawfish. This dissappointed me and my son. For he wanted some also.

On a good note, I didn't have to worry about not eating too much that day....but was upset about everything else, cause today is June 13, and it's been almost 2 months and it still isn't fixed. I hope and pray that it is fixed this weekend....
