THINKTHIN'S BEFORE PIX

Postby THINKTHIN » March 5th, 2006, 5:08 pm

I guess you guys probably don't see many military people on here, but, "we" too, have problems! Especially being 5'2". We must weigh in at 149lbs for our maximum and if we go over that weight then we are measured by a measuring tape. We must be 33% body fat or less. I am right at 33% and I weigh 174lbs. My next weigh in is on April 10th. I would love to drop 25 more pounds before then. I have not been able to pass the weight part since 2003. Every person is different, but I get so frustrated going up and down on the scales.

Image

I am attempting medifast ONCE AGAIN. Hopefully this time, I will not lose the war! I am very adament (sp) about losing the weight for good, and not for just quick gratification.

We work out three times a week and I find myself doing a slow jog, and some toning. So far, so good! I've lost 7lbs in eight days. Not too shabby!

I am hoping to post my next picture in April with my 25lb weight loss! We will be out to sea for three weeks and I wont be back until mid April. I"m glad I can check my forum underway...if not, I think I'd go nuts, as for I am addicted to this website!

Well, I'm off to make my last supplement of the evening....

Happy Losing,
~Tiesha

Hey there shipmate ! I've got until PRT in April to get below my max body fat. This program is the best thing I've ever been on. XO and CMC are very happy with my progress and are threatening me with PRT coordinator when I get down to weight.

It took me a while to figure out that that was your before, as in before losing weight, picture. When I first saw it, I thought it was your before gaining weight picture. If you look this good now, you're going to be unstoppable at goal!

Thanks so much for serving our nation. You are one of the true heros!

Tiesha, thanks for sharing your photo. As everyone has stated, you already look great! I know you'll look incredible once you drop the extra lbs you speak of and just imagine how much better you'll feel!

You mentioned you'll be out to sea for 3 weeks. Sometimes when I'm traveling I wonder about the challenges of preparing my meals. If you can be on a ship for 3 weeks and stick to plan I know I can make it 3 or 4 days in a hotel!

Keep up the great work and great attitude. I cannot wait to see your "after" photos!!

Thank you very much, everyone! It's so nice to hear your comments... :-)

Remember wearing black, makes up look a bit thinner, right??? LOL...

It's been hard... I've struggled for awhile with my weight and I was expecting my motivation that I finally have now, would have been there before. It's here now, though... so, I am going to keep on keepin' on!

What makes this extra hard for me, is that my job is a Culinary Specialist. I ensure the cooks are doing their jobs. (glad to be a supervisor) because if i was actually still cooking in the kitchen, I'd def be a big butterball! Today we had steak and crab legs. I had both! I split up the ounces. I had to guestimate the ounces. i Feel hungry now, but it's been about four hours... due to traffic.

Thank you again for your lovely replies. That is motivation in nutshell for me! :-) We can do this.... as the Navy's motto is : FULL SPEED AHEAD!!!!!!!!!

Let's roll....

Happy Losing,
~Tiesha
