Thin NE gal in the South (Carol)

Postby NE gal in South » April 12th, 2006, 9:12 am

156 lbs. gone in 9 months, and the most amazing thing for me is I have been able to maintain and keep it off for almost 1 year. The attached photo will be 1 year old around the middle of May. I now weigh between 141 and 135. I am committed to get to 125 soon.

Image

I weigh myself daily and once the scale creeps up and one of my 3 pairs of jeans (size 8 petite) is tight, it is back to 5 supplements a day and one lean and green known as (The Medifast Blitz) until they are loose again. The Take Shape for Life program is most convenient for me and I like everything that Medifast offers. Ease, taste and convenience.

I have taken my life back and encourage you to do the same. Believe that you too can experience the life-changing results that I have. I can run up a hill with my dogs now at age 63! Even the vet remarked that the dogs have lost a pound or 2! Decide to commit and "Just Do It!"

I'm so happy for you! It is really comforting that I have the Medifast blitz to look forward to when I'm maintaining my loss too! It's nice to have a fall-back plan for those times I might overindulge and I love your jeans test to make sure you're doing well!

Thanks for the inspirational post!

To think I almost missed this post, CAROL. I was looking for it in the wrong place.

Anyway, I can breath easy, since you have now posted your after picture. It is amazing. You are indeed the MMT Poster Girl. ..the living testimony. 156 pounds in 9 months and still maintaining after a year!

No one can ever question if it can be done, because, yes, you did it! I know that Nancy must be your mentor and heroine. She is ours, too! Amazing women do amazing things!

Thank you for being our inspiration and motivater. Will you be posting :puter: again soon? We'd love that!

Thank you so much for sharing your maintenance success. It means so much to me. This is the first time in my life that I am becoming confident that I will be able to maintain my weight loss using the method which you have described.

Life is sweet.
