Dear MakeMeThinner People ~

The Oatmeal Raisin meal bars are back on the shelves at TSFL/Medifast! Yeah! Great news, eh?

Hey, Unca ~ THAT ought to make ya a happy chappy, eh?

I also want to take a moment to letcha know that we have reports from our faithful MMT shakers and readers that indicate more of the bars have the new packaging colors and they have been reformulated. According to ktrout, the S'more Granolas are different but good. We should be receiving our BeSlim order here at the MakeMeThinner Cottage in a few days (hopefully before we take off for the TSFL summer conference!) and we'll see if the Caramel Nut or the Fruit & Nuts are different.

I noticed a difference with the Fruit & Nut bars with the new packaging right away. The texture is much nicer, in my opinion....a little more flavor, moister, just a fresher taste. It just figures that MF would do a better job making the bars, I'm glad they've been reformulated!

The Peanut Butter and Chocolate Bar for Diabetics also tastes a whole lot better. Smoother, less granular. The old ones used to make my throat itch. The new ones are great.

Are the lemon bars unavailable now? They aren't on the main MF site anymore, yet I just ordered a box a few weeks ago.

I just got a new shipment of peanutbutter bars. They have also been reformulated.....they taste so peanutbuttery now! yum yummy!

I doh't suppose the reformulation includes dropping the high fructose corn syrup? I had heard that was in the works ...

I gonna stop eating the bars to see if it will nudge my weight loss along a little faster. My last shipment of Fruit and Nut bars tasted different and not in a good way. It's too bad, because they used to be my favorite.

It's the third ingredient after soy protein isolate and honey.

Yeah, Kristi.....my dd16, who liked them previously thought this recent shipment of them tasted weird, too. I think it was just a bad batch.."0407". They were drier, and had a funny, and VERY different taste. I'm gonna just toss 'em...not worth trading, IMO. I don't want to order more cuz they're a little expensive and I don't want to take a chance that the next batch will be any better. I know I'm a little picky about how things taste....always been that way. Glad you shared tho', so I didn't think it was just me.

Joy, if you haven't tossed them yet, call the company. You can return things if there's something wrong. I've found them to be very good about that sort of thing.

You were right about that, Robin! I called today, and replacements are on their way. I also mentioned a problem I had a while back with three packets of cocoa being only half-filled. They are sending me a whole box to replace them....no questions asked! Wow. I didn't expect such excellent customer service (I'm too jaded, I guess!)! Thanks for mentioning this, Robin....I probably wouldn't have called if not for you.
