Hi there..

Postby KellyC » April 20th, 2007, 10:01 pm

I'm so glad to have found this forum! I found the forums on the Medifast website so hard to read, the layout is strange.

Anyways, my name is Kelly, I'm going to be 29 (yikes!) this summer. I am a big girl.. 6'2" tall and 406#. Been packing on the weight pretty much ever since I left high school.

Nothing has worked for me in terms of diet. I really felt I needed the strictness of the MF diet in order to be successful.. other diets leave too much room for me to cheat.

I threw out all the junk food this week, while waiting for my first MF package to arrive.. and I've been finishing up the rest of the rice and such that I had in the cabinets.

I am going to start this Sunday, 22 april, and for the first time, I'm actually excited about dieting!

Hi Kelly. Nice to meet you. :D

This is the best place to be, and Medifast is the best program there is. Feel free to ask any questions. As Biki said, you will get a response.

Remember to drink your water. The first three days are the hardest.

Good luck. :boing:

Hi Kelly -

I'm also going to be 29 this year (in a month) - but hey, it's not 30 yet, don't say 'yikes!' so soon!

Welcome - I can't wait for you to start. I hope you will love it as much as I do. It's not always been easy for me, but for others it's a breeze, and as long as you stick to it you get the promised results in time.

Good luck and let us know how your first days go!

Welcome Kelly~ This is one of the reasons I love MF. Other weight loss plans that I've tried, and I've tried them all, gave me too many choices. It was obvious to me that I am not good at making the right choices, so MF is a perfect fit.

You've made an excellent decision!!!!

Welcome Kelly,
Don't worry the pounds will soon be parting with you... and remember tall people look so great in their clothes!! I'm soo happy you're taking care of parting with the pounds at 29 .. it doesn't get easier as we get more "experienced" ... Nancy has me trained well now!! I would have said "older" ... but hmmmm "experienced" is the word!! :D
