Wow everybody!!! Thanks for making me feel so loved and special! Success is there for the taking. All you have to do is follow the plan - just do it -. I'm not going anywhere. I'll be sharing my experiences during maintenance and you all will be there before you know it.
I wanted to share that one thing I've learned during the last 5 1/2 months on MF is a continuous awareness of my body and how to pay attention to it. It was something I obviously ignored before - not really liking it or appreciating it. It really does communicate with you. The day before I reached my goal, I wasn't feeling as good as I usually do - listless, tired, and unusually very hungry. Thought I might be on the threshold of a cold or something. Yesterday when I read up in Success in a Shaker Jar what I need to get at the store for maintenance, it stated that your body will pretty much tell you when you've reached a reasonable goal weight. You will not feel quite as good, tired, and hungry. AH-HA!!!! The body is an amazingly efficient machine. Also I stood up very fast yesterday and got really really dizzy. So, I've reached my limit, and my desired goal weight is right on target.
You all are friends with whom I feel a unique bond sharing our journey together here. This forum is a favorite respite for me several times a day and I'll hang around as long as you let me. I'll get it together and post some pics soon. It's been very rainy here so hubby won't allow one speck of rain on 'Hoss' the Harley.
Stay on plan everyone - be steadfast and positive. Have patience and strength. If I can do it you can do it.
