(At least that's what I've been telling my son...truth is, I don't think I could have made it UP the hill without going on oxygen.)
Well, today the cart broke down at the 7th hole.

I know that doesn't sound like much, but this was the first time I've been able to walk up and down the 9th hole chasm ever, let alone lugging my clubs with me.

I guess being as overweight as I am, I don't truly understand how significant a 35+ weight loss is. Part of the problem is that when I look in a mirror I don't see it, with the possible exception of looking a little thinner in my face, and of course, my clothes are a lot looser. But yesterday I went shopping at the pet store for some kitty litter. And as I pulled a 25 pound bag off the shelf it suddenly hit me. Wow!...that's a lot of weight. (especially when it falls on your foot!!! )
As someone metioned in an earlier post. I think it's a great idea to go to the store and literally pick up some products to "feel" how much weight you've lost already.
Whether it's five pounds or 50, to actually hold that much weight in your hands really helps us to understand what we've accomplished and also how much more we have to go.
