The flu...

Postby KellyC » September 19th, 2007, 1:35 pm

I have what I can only assume is the flu...
I can't get ahold of my doctor.. I just need to know if there is any reason I should not have MF shakes today?

Thanks

I asked the same question a couple days ago and Hulagirl said she kept up with the program during her bug--Lots of chiken noodle and hot cocoa.

Hope you get well soon!

Kelly, sorry to read that you are feeling puny! I would go by how you feel, if you can stay on program, it seems that it would be best......but only you know how you feel and if you can do it.

Best wishes that you feel better soon.

Depends on which "flu". If you are vomiting I'd definately stay away from dairy products/lactose (shakes/cream soups). If it is a cold type flu, well I don't think it would hurt at all. Hope you're feeling better soon.

Thanks y'all :)
I was just asking because I don't know much about soy, and I wasn't sure if it would cause a problem. I wasn't able to eat much of anything yesterday, I had 1 shake, lots of water, and a few doses of NeoCitron.
Today I was able to have 5+1, but I'm still not 100%. At least the fever broke this afternoon, I was getting worried since it had been a steady 102.5F since Tuesday night.

Hope you're feeling better Kelly!

I'm just passing through my own flu right now and am almost out of the other side of the tunnel. Yes, I stayed on plan as much as possible, meaning I only consumed MF supps and maybe an L&G if my tummy felt up to it. With the variety of MF supps I have, I had no reason to grab a Campbell's soup or something like that. So yes, my tummy dictated which MF supp. it wanted, and I'm fine. Hope you are too!

Get well soon! :hugblue:
