But today I had to run an errand and I took the Escort. About 4 blocks down the road, I noticed that the steering wheel seemed lose. It was then that I looked down and realized that there was a sizeable GAP between the wheel and my belly!! At the stoplight, I even tried to EXTEND my belly toward the wheel AND IT WOULDN'T TOUCH!!!
I just was too excited about sharing this with you!! I feel THIN today!!
Hey Diana,
I wanted to tell you that this post made me realize that something was different when I drove my van, too. I drive a Dodge Grand Caravan, but because I'm short, only 5'2", I have to have the seat forward to reach the pedals. For the past two years my belly has barely touched the bottom of the steering wheel. This morning when I got in the van to run an errand, I thought of you and looked down. I couldn't believe it. I ran in the house and got a ruler.....my tummy is now 4 inches away from the steering wheel! I couldn't believe it.
The tops of my thighs used to be close to the steering wheel too....but NO MORE. There is now PLENTY of room for me to get in and out of the driver's seat. Wow. Thanks for posting your NSV! If you hadn't, I wouldn't have noticed mine!
