I've been up since 4 and feel like I need a vacation or nap, good I am sort of going on one. Walked 1.8 miles, then went to Union Station to get some reading materials, need to clean the kitchen, pack and I have a terrible stomach ache. I took a pill without much water right as I was walking out the door and it felt like it was kind of got stuck. I felt pain and waves of nausea. I got an iced tea at Union Station but it was too late. Enough of my complaints, I need to get busy. Good luck tomorrow on the scale. I don't have a laptop but I think this hotel has a machine you can use for a few minutes for 5 bucks if I recall correctly so I might make roll call. Especially if I am bored. You still have a halo to me, it's just not a tiara like Joleen has.

Biki, hope your stomachache went away and that you are having a nice time.

9 glasses of water so far today. I'm a bit scared of the scale tomorrow as right now I'm 3# above ticker. I sure hope I'm up a lot tonight  or I'll be crying in my shake come morning!

Thanks T! I'm sure the scale will be going the way you want it to very soon; your still losing at a good pace. Glad to hear that the babies are feeling better and great job with the water consumption.

TEE, just checking in to say hi! Trying to get caught up some on journals but way behind.
Congrats on the average of 2+ pounds a week. That is a good safe weight loss and will help on your maintenance.
You're doing so good, your halo will slip over your skinny head and become a necklace. WTG!

Thanks HB, Donna and Lizabette.

I'm dragging this morning. The babies' virus hit me hard yesterday afternoon. I'm avoiding my coffee this morning  so you know I'm feeling pretty puny. I've got a diet 7 up to sip on and am weak as the kitten we all hear about. ;) Good news  :? is that I'm down 3# this morning. ;)

The babies will arrive in less than 2 hours. I will have them today and tomorrow, then have the rest of the week 'off'. Their parents are who watches them if I'm not able, but neither of them can miss any more work--and I didn't share with them that I was down. I will muster up an appropriate amount of energy when they arrive and then will just lay on the floor while they play with their toys. I have baby gates to keep them corralled in the living room and should be able to veg on the floor while they play. Energy only needed for diaper changes and meal times. I think it is doable and will work out.

The 3# loss is a shocker....wonder if I will be right back up as I replenish my fluids...

Anyway, the sweet little 'germs' struck again. ;)

Make it a good day!

Tawanda - I am so sorry you are not feeling well. I hope you bounce back soon. I also hope today isn't too difficult for you with your grandbabies - hope the day goes by fast so that you can get your rest.

I am so beat today too...not because I am sick - just had problems sleeping last night. You should see how I am dressed today - I am wearing hot pink capris with a hot pink and white top - I look like Bozo the clown's assistant. The pants are huge and the shirt - I had to borrow a safety pin to cover my cleavage. I was so tired I never even looked in the mirror this morning to see how I looked.

Sue, wish you had taken a photo! ;) Time for you to go through your clothes, trying them all on and setting aside those too big. I enjoyed spending hours doing that a few weeks ago...it was exhilerating along with a bit sad (I liked a few of the clothes that are too big--but not enough to gain the weight back ;) ).

Thank you for the kind thoughts and comments Biki, HB, Donna and Lizabette.

Babies spent the night here last night. It was an okay day, I just made sure I laid down to nap whenever they did. I never slept, but at least it was some time to recharge my batteries. I wasn't 'sick' any more but still not feeling good so I skipped the morning coffee and only had 2 supplements all day along with a little water and some diet 7up. Down another .5 this morning but that may change as I work towards getting back to full supplements and drinking more water (hopefully today if I continue to feel okay).

Well, better get back to interacting with the little ones (they are playing at my feet with the remotes for the stereo & dvd player).

Hey Tawanda,

Sorry to hear that you weren't feeling well yesterday. I hope you continue to feel better today and that you're able to keep your supplements down. Those babies have one super grandma :)

Take care.

Tawanda - you sound like you are feeling better today. You are so right I should have taken a picture - it would have made a good laugh. I again today had to use the same safety pin to pin my top - cleavage just keeps wanting to come out.

Have fun with the babies - when I read they were playing with the remotes - I had a picture of them turning on the stereo really loud and dancing along...LOL!! Kind of like those dancing babies they used to show on Alley McBeal (i think that's the name of the show).
