Shoot, Brian was on? I've GOT to pay more attention. Thanks for the reminder to call the recorded line tonight and listen to Lizabette!

I am so jealous (and so would my mother be if she knew) that you have twin grandbabies! I would LOVE to have twins, but my chances are not good. My husband's sisters are twins - but they were the first in the whole family, so I guess sometimes it just happens without any genetic predisposition. Maybe coming off of MF and getting pregnant I'll release two eggs or something - woo hoo!

TEE, G'Morning,
I am so far behind on reading your journal. Forgive.
Oh, please do listen to the recording from last night.
Nancy's talk on "It's Never Too Late" is just so inspiring...and fits us all to a TEE!
It was such fun being her guest, too.
You are just having too much fun with your g"kids. Sigh.
For me those days are long past, but there are always 'greats'. It's just that by this time, they are scattered all across the country.
You are doing so good, and I so admire you for your patience. I promise it will pay off.
And in the meantime you are getting your healthy body back, love, don't forget that!
Lizabette

Little glitches and bugs in the MMT computer system last night and this morning. I've lost a few posts and see other's having multiple posts so know it isn't just me having the 'de-bug' problems.

Scale this morning was below ticker so that was nice. I don't have the babies today so will be able to run errands and get some groceries this morning. I'm very low on 'green' and look forward to picking up some fresh veggies along with all the other things we're running out of in the pantry and 'frig.

I don't feel much like writing today so will just cut this short. Hope it is a good one for everyone.

Lizabette, I'll go get a cup of coffee and listen to the tape of last night's call. I'm so sorry that I missed the opportunity to 'talk' with you last night. I would have loved to have heard your voice and told you 'in person' how much your presence here at MMT has been a blessing in my life.

Thanks Biki. Hope you're feeling better or at least will by the end of the day. I use to have brutal TOMs most of the time and was quite thankful when circumstances and the time came when the doctor said 'enough'.

Just listened to Lizabette's call with Nancy. Great to hear their message and great to hear Lizabette's voice and story. Heard Chynna say 'hello' also.....

I had to come back and brag   ;)

I have CLAVICLES!!!!! While getting dressed and deciding what to do with my hair for the day I saw them in the mirror!!!!!! I was amazed, impressed and thrilled (see, had to log in to tell you guys!!)

Clavicles, clavicles, I have clavicles showing once again!!! I do not know how long it has been since I've seen these bones!!! Whooo-Hoooo! An excellent NSV and another notch in the belt of my MF journey to a healthy body free of excess flab. :D

(For those of you who haven't heard the clavicle brag before--they are our collarbones, LOL and you, too, will see them again!)

WoooHoooo for your clavicles!

I'm glad you came back to brag, especially since the scale has been holding back on you until recently. You're doing so great!

Are they looking beautiful?
Make sure to wear a top that shows them, not an old navy one!

Congrats on the clavicles! I didn't really notice mine coming back until I think it was Sojo who pointed them out in a picture I had posted!

Dear heavens, a bunch of silly people -- JUST LIKE ME -- who get excited over seeing bone protusions. ;) :) :D  It was one of those things that I noticed on Sojo's pics and then Biki's pics and someone did the 'I see my clavicles' dance somewhere around that time and I could not wait to see mine exposed.

Scale showed another little drop again today so I will (hopefully) have a loss to report on Sunday's roll call. That is always nice to do and have...

I have the babies today and also a full weekend coming up. I'd like to know who revved up my life and filled it full of 'stuff'. I could swear that I use to have a quiet, dull and lovely boring life with plenty of free time. At least I think I had one.......

Last night I attended a baby shower.......and I held the infant while everyone else was busy having cake, punch, mints & nuts. Someone did say "OH! You didn't get any cake! Do you want me to go get you some?" and I said "nah, thank you...I'll get some later perhaps" and that was the end of it. :D I didn't want any of the cake (thank heavens!) and I brought along a bottle of water to enjoy. These occasions of turning away from off program food are getting easier and easier as I get smaller and smaller. I'm less than 10# from hitting the high end of what is considered 'normal' weight for my height. That is heady, exciting and great incentive to stick to program and get the job done (get to goal). I've never been this successful in losing weight before and I'd be darned if I will ever travel the road to obesity again---which in order to keep away from becoming fat again--I need to learn to only fuel myself with foods that are benefical to my dream instead of feeding my emotions. I know that I will have a piece of cake at a special occasion, some time in the future......but it will have to be a pretty special cake (carrot cake? My fave!) and I will not need to eat all of it.

So many things yet to learn on this journey......how to have a little bit of something and not want to overeat when I do have it and how to control my appetite and feel my emotions instead of feed them...

Lots of work yet to do, but I'm sure liking the new body and new energy that I'm enjoying right now. :D

What weight will make us "normal" T, since we are the same height?

T ,
Im feeling a wee bit tired from your babysitting activities
My gosh, 10lbs away from normal? Hooray :D

I recently had a big discussion with myself about mindset. Honest to pete, for me, it is how I look at it, perceive it, think about it. I can look at life in a variety of ways. Does that make sense? When I was a thin woman, cake at parties just wasnt an option, one cookie at Christmas was enough, running was part of my day. I looked at life this way I was in total control. What a feeling. Then I took a detour and thought I was depriving myself, work outs were too hard, my life was a mess. I am now looking at life differently in a few short months of control
YIKES Ive stole your journal
so maybe we need to listen to some Dalilama tapes :) good postitive stuff.
