I've missed you!! I'm glad that I could give you a laugh in my journal this morning. :lol: It was heartening to see that other people could understand what I meant and had been there themselves. Such support! That's what this forum is all about, eh? YOU have been a big part of that component for me, and I thank you! And what about that Lauren chick, huh? How awesome is she?? If she had her own journal I could tell her that, but....... :dunno:

Oh, Mizz T - the mind games we play are something else, aren't they? Believe me, I know from mind games. :roll: Consider this: What if you had initially set your goal at 135? Would you be at 140 right now, upset with yourself that you just can't seem to get to goal?? Funny, huh?

Still...it won't be just right until it sets right with YOU, y'know? That's what I wish for you - a right set (not to be confused with a left jab, which would be akin to exercise!! :tongue:).

Hey guess what?? A couple great things this morning! I'm still 100% on program. Finished my second day on 6-0. I am down to ticker weight this morning (145#) which I did not expect but was hoping to see tomorrow.....so now, maybe, just maybe I'll see a lower number tomorrow (just how much weight loss am I going to enjoy with compliance and 6-0? Amazing!). Right now I'm down 4.5# from earlier this week (oh yeah, this gal ate herself back up to 149.5 -- probably sodium/water retention but also calories, too).

Dang, maybe goal will happen before I grow my beard ---yes, I finally weaned myself completely from my replacement hormones---ugh! Night sweats and hot flashes are no longer a joke in my mind or life. This is not fun and I am not amused. ;)

I have a sore throat and other 'cold' symptoms. I watched the twins yesterday, they went home at 6 PM and then 15 minutes later, DH & I traveled 30 minutes to watch our other g'kids so that their parents could have a date night. Yes, it was suppose to be the twins' parents having the date night and the twins staying here overnight.....but plans changed and the other g'kids' parents stepped in on the offer of babysitting/date night. We finally got home at 11PM and dropped into bed. I took some Tylenol PM so I could sleep through the raw throat stage (don't you hate that when you cannot sleep due to your throat feeling raw? I do).

At the g'kids' house last night there was chocolates and cookies sitting on the counter. I kept running Lauren's words and Jo's "just do it" through my head (off program foods don't exist in my world right now) LOL. I did not have any.....but it was tough (my stomach was growling for most of the afternoon and night). Seeing 145# on the scale this morning was a wonderful surprise, bonus and made me so glad that the tiny Lauren and Jo were sitting on my shoulder and whispering in my ear. ;)

No g'kids today (whooo-heee) and I do not think I 'have to' go anywhere to do anything for anyone else........so YES!!! I have a day for me!!!!

I don't stop in here near enough, but I should. Thank you for your comments in my journal - I appreciate that you take time to check in on me. Thank you, also, for sharing your journey with us. Seeing your story while I am trying to "write my own" makes fight the monster a little easier.

Hello!

Ticker is now at 144.5# which is only a .5# drop from 2 weeks ago. I didn't weigh last Sunday but on Tuesday morning I was up to 149.5 -- Ouch! -- so I have had an impressive week (of going up and then down, LOL). Yesterday I did have a L&G instead of sticking with the 6-0 as I was feeling weak (yes, weak bodied instead of just weak willed ;) :lol: ).

Katie, you will be laughing to know that I did drink all my water yesterday and even had an extra 34 oz over my 8 glasses (impressive for me, and probably the norm amount for the rest of you who are so great at getting your water drank daily).

as we all know T, a loss is a loss and WE'LL TAKE IT! CONGRATS! Almost 100 oz of water??? That's wonderful, considering your water intake sometimes seems to be a chore. Keep that up lady!

Hey, T.! Sorry you're getting sick, it stinks! But so glad Jo and I could be whispering in your ears this weekend. Funny, usually there's an angel and a devil, but it sounds like we both fulfilled angel role this time around -thank god for that, or I'd be feeling a bit guilty this morning! Congrats on the scale taking note of your hard work!

Hello!

I'm still on program! Yesterday was only about 6 glasses of water and I had a baked chicken breast salad for my L & G...my weight this morning was up 1.5#! I thought that was incredibly rude of my body and am not amused at all. ;) If I didn't know that I had been compliant to program---I would be much more upset with the darn scale and my body.....but figure it was a combination of the L & G versus 6-0 that I had been on for a couple days along with not having quite enough water for the day.

Today I went shopping with a couple of my g'children and their mother (wholesale grocery warehouse shopping). I spent far too much money and am still gulping over the total. Lunch for them was a drive through burger & fries, but I had my RTD along with a large diet soda. I am a bit hungry but was able to stick to program while they ate some of my favorite foods. :) I am feeling some pride right now. :)

So......that is today's report. I need to be drinking some water to play catch up with the day.

Hang in there, I too got on the scale and was up slightly :? but as said maybe ya didnt get enough water I'm hoping that was my case too. Good luck :table:

Dont fret over the scale T......... For some reason every MONDAY I am up. I dont know why maybe because I know I have a whole week to lose ;)

I have to admit you both have been on my shoulders also. I have just recently gone through the Studio pictures and all I have to say is if they can do it I CAN DO IT..... Thank YOU I love that you guys do not sugar coat things, and that you just come out and tell me to do it.

Hello.

Weight still up at 146#. Yesterday I did not drink much water (why does that not surprise me nor any of you that know my history here). Today I will make myself drink at least 8 glasses of water....if for no other reason than to see if my weight drops back down to ticker.

Guess that is it for here......thanks for the input and checking up on me. :)
