Hi T,

I've haven't been around as much as I should be but what you are expressing I can definitely relate to. I'll never understand why when things are so close to our grasp, we mess up. However, the one thing I've learned this time is that I'm not perfect, I don't have to be perfect and I'll survive.

I like that you and everyone talks about their struggles, makes me feel I'm not alone, whether I'm just lurking or replying.

I know you can complete your mission. I just know it.

By the way I also tried the infusers but for some reason they make my dry mouth problems worse so I'm thinking they aren't for me.

Robin, Queenie, Donna, Kelly, Chynna, Norma and Diana....Hello to all of you, too. Thanks for the kind words and encouraging thoughts.

I've really neglected my journal which is unlike me. I have been not doing a good job of my daily food journal either. I seem to have lost my momentum and focus.

While reading at another site this evening, I came across this in someone's journal.....

Most people give up just when they're about to achieve success. They quit on the one yard line. They give up at the last minute of the game, one foot from a winning touchdown. H. Ross Perot

I don't know that I believe it....'most people'? I somehow doubt that most people give up at the one yard line, but that does seem to be what I've done. I have to shake my head at my choices and decision---what in the world have I been doing to myself?! Ridiculous to work this long and hard just to begin tossing away my determination to succeed, when I am toeing the finish line.

So.... 5.5# to goal....wonder how many months it will take me? LOL Just kidding (I hope!).

I just had to get myself back to square one. Journal here, journal every food item (should be very easy because it will be all program compliant foods, correct? LOL) and get some of Sojo's mojo going again.

Remember, T, you can't eat while you're knitting! What do you have on your needles right now?

I'm knitting a baby blanket for my niece who's having a baby in May. It's really cute. I've never knitted a round blanket before, but it's fun. it's like a pie with lace around the edge.

Hi T,
I am not close to the finish line but feel your frustration with my own plan...Let's just keep supporting each other and then we can all celebrate with each other when "goal" arrives !

Have a great day ! :D

I'd send some of MY Mojo, but she might object!!

You can do this, T. (But Jo, she can't drink all her water if she's busy knitting!!!!)

Hi Jo, so true......cannot eat while holding knitting needles. I still have those first socks on the needles. I set the knitting aside many, many months ago and haven't picked it back up. I don't know if I can even figure out where I was and how to do it (two socks on two needles). Thanks for the reminder and nudge to pick the knitting up again.

I'm ready to have a great day (yeah, trying to get my mindset perfect for getting across that finish line).
I can get to goal.
I want to get to goal.
I will get to goal.
I'm on my way to goal......

Hey my friend,

Look what you have done in the past year. YOU ROCK you have lost so much weight and you are learning to keep it off. Those pesky 5 pounds will come off. Dont you worry. Just keep on drinking water

Some how I missed seeing Pam and Robin visit, could it be that we were all posting at the same time?

Thanks to you both. It is not quite 7 a.m. here, I've enjoyed 2 cups of coffee and had my MF oatmeal. As soon as I finish reading the posts here, I will go fill up my 33 oz jug with water and begin drinking. I do have to go into town this morning......but I will not let that deter me from getting that first jug finished before I go (and go, and go......) I mean, before I leave home. ;)

Katie, thank you. I think I need to spend some time today going back into my journal and also to look at my studio thread. I did come across my beginning photos recently and I cringed.....maybe I should print those out and hang them in my sewing room or on my bathroom mirror where I'll be reminded of where I was and do not want to ever be again. The sadness and despair was evident in my face, how I stood and in my clothing choices...I should also print out a 'now' picture so that I can reaffirm that I have been successful in making changes. I think I allow myself to forget the despair I felt when I first made the commitment to MF and began my journey. Time to remind myself how successful I was....and can continue to be.

Okay......I'll go fill up that water bottle............Best wishes to all that it is a perfectly compliant and a good day in all ways.

HB---Hello!!! Here is to a great day!

Robin....I can honestly say that I don't think anyone has ever said that to me before. Not sure I ever wanted any one to think of me at that time.......but your post did make me laugh. Only on Medifast would that comment make sense. ;)
