Back down to 146.5 which was the weight I saw on Thanksgiving morning but hadn't seen since. I did go to pick up DH and the table was covered with pizzas. I did not stay in that room and thankfully the aroma did not waif into the room I where I was sitting visiting with others. We were offered some cold pizza to take home but I turned it down before DH could say 'no' on his own (he doesn't care for pizza). I know what my limitations are and avoiding pizza in my own home would have been asking for trouble......heck, it would have been a disaster and I would not have stayed compliant. I'm not that strong.
I've been doing 6-0 for the past couple days, getting myself back firmly into fat burning and ketosis. I talked with Nancy and shared how I've been doing --- the off program bites, nibbles and actual big servings of off program foods I had been having since allowing myself *a Thanksgiving meal*. The eating off program did not stop with the one Thanksgiving meal, it was finishing the pie over the next few days and then it was ice cream that called my name and it was another favorite sugary item that I made as a treat for DH & my children that I did not avoid..........so I went from 146.5 on Thanksgiving all the way back up to 151 earlier this week. I began drinking my water and got myself back on program by doing the 6-0, I will re-introduce my L & G probably tonight or tomorrow. I also went back to popping a piece of sugar-free gum into my mouth while feeding the twins...that way I cannot take bites of whatever I've made for them unless I make the consciencous effort to take my gum out of my mouth and have that bite. The gum will give me a bit more 'thinking time' before making the foolish decision to have a bite or taste of off program foods.
It has been ridiculous how long it is taking me to get to goal. I played around with the same couple of pounds since mid-September.....thankfully I'm again losing and am planning on seeing goal by January 1st (fingers crossed).
I put all this into my journal for my own accountability and so that I was being completely honest with myself on why I have not already reached my goal weight.
