148# this morning.

Happy Thanksgiving everyone! Life is going into overdrive today through Friday (at least) so I knew I'd probably have no time to send my Thanksgiving greetings if I didn't do it this morning. I will check in if time allows, of course.

I am doing a Thanksgiving meal here, I plan on having my L & G at lunch time which is when my meal will be served. I do have some things on the menu that I will have to avoid (baked potatoes, stuffing, gravy and pie come to mind immediately) but I do not believe it will be difficult to stick to my on program lean and green as my mind is focused on goal (finally or maybe just again) and my resolve is very strong (right now....today.......LOL).

I hope everyone has a lovely day.

Thanks Tawanda. My day is getting lovelier as this Tylenol Cold and Allergy capsules I took wear off. My head is no longer congestd but the headache is still there and the medication made me dizzy. With all the crap I take I can't believe I would be felled by an allergy pill. I hope you have a wonderful Thankgiving. Our tofurkey is thawing in the fridge.

Biki, hope you feel better by now, miserable feeling icky on holidays.

We had a wonderful gathering here with the kids, their spouses and the grandchildren. The meal turned out great --- whoo-hooo!!! I am NOT a great cook so every time I have a huge meal that is tasty and enjoyed...well, that IS a cause for celebration in my mind/heart! LOL.

Weight......saw a new low of 146.5......hope I get to see it again for roll call tomorrow (yeah, I bounced back up a bit -- darn body!).

Today I'm either babysitting for grands while their parents donate some time helping out for an anniversary reception for some friends' parents or I'll go do the helping out in their place (grands are running temps so maybe parents will stay home). Either way, I'm going to be away from home for awhile today---blech! I'd rather stay home and hibernate ;) .

Frosty and 25° here the past 3 mornings. Today is a balmy 29° :? Too cold for me!

Hope everyone had a nice Thanksgiving!

No idea what my weight is this a.m. as I got up at 4 and didn't want to wake DH by turning on the bathroom light to see the scale numbers. Rotten that it happened to fall on roll call day. I tossed and turned for what seemed like hours before finally giving up and getting up to begin my day. I was mentally fussing over some worries, which is just silly as I don't have the power to make decisions to change the situation-----so why waste my time, energy and emotions (along with my sleep) by worrying.....darn my mind anyway!

Heading off to church soon...I have nursery duty today :?

 to youse guys! ;)

Weight this a.m................UGH!!! 149.5# --- a full 3# heavier than I was Thanksgiving morning. I hate this silly yo-yo-ing weight gain/loss that I'm doing. I guess I'll look on the bright side and say "I'm doing a fine job of maintaining".......but---sugars!!---I'm not suppose to be maintaining yet! I've still got my goal weight to get to.

Yesterday I babysat the twins and today I have to run errands. One of my grands has been running a fever of 101 to 105 (! yes, 105) since Thanksgiving. His parents have taken him to the doctor (on Sunday) and they were told to start him on antibiotics for possible bacterial pneumonia if his temp was still running over 102 on Tuesday. The chest x-ray wasn't definitive about whether or not there was pneumonia---thus waiting a couple more days to see if his body could kick, on its own, whatever he was fighting. Poor little tyke. I'm going to go spend some time with him today. Tomorrow and Friday I'll have the twins so today is my only day to get errands and my housework done.

Guess that is it from here......always busy, always plugging away at sticking to program.....always watching the scale reflect my compliance. :? (Darn me!!! ).

Aw, sorry for the yo-yo problem, T. Have you done any measuring at all, to see if you're losing inches? This week on Biggest Loser they met with the docs to discuss the progress they've made that has nothing to do with the scale. One was off his blood pressure meds, one had brought his cholesterol way down, and one woman who hadn't lost nearly as many pounds as the others had actually reduced her waist size more than anyone else (which is what made me suggest it).

Try not to let the scale drive you nuts, and I hope the baby's better soon. Poor little guy must be miserable!

What a week!!!!!

Today I'm finally below ticker!!! Hopefully will be able to lower the number for roll call tomorrow morning.

It is cold, a little windy and snowing here. We worked outside for a couple hours this morning moving wood chips up to the barn. In a few hours we have to head into town for a family function. Pizza will be served --- I love pizza but will NOT have any-----it is not on the MF program and I am 100% on program!! :D

Good for you on both counts! :) I I'lll join roll call again when I can stay at or below the same weight for 5 days in a row without fluctuating more than .2 past that number. Just 5 days. I have made it 3 days below in a row and almost announced victory but alas it was not to be...as far as pizza goes, when my husband joined me on my evening walk he asked me if I wanted to stop for pizza. I guess because I am eating regular food now he thinks that means all food. I said "Nope. Not on my diet. Thanks!"
