Nothing good to report. No new weight loss and still hoping that I'll see a new lower number by roll call on Sunday.....

NOT drinking my water (I need a head slap obviously).

NOT exercising (Yes, I truly do need a head slap).

Don't be lining up to slap my head!!! ;)

No head-slapping here, T. But c'mon, how about some short-term goals? Just for today, you're going to drink all your water (for starters, stop reading and go get a glass of water; finish it while you're reading). And maybe get in a little exercise, even if it's just a 15- or 20-minute walk. You can do that, right?

Hello,

Thanks for stopping over ...

It looks like you are in good spirits even with not reaching your goal yet. I hope you have time and energy for drinking your water and getting in some exercise. I know how it can seem a chore after stopping for a week.

regards,
joy

LOL on the subliminal messages.

So far today (just before 9 a.m.) and I've had 6 cups of water (blech!). I made myself drink 2 cups of water (double blech!) before each cup of coffee......

Now as to exercise.............................. :? Let us just not go there right now..... But since miracles are occuring today (I count drinking 6 cups of water as a mini-miracle ;) ).....who knows, maybe I will get on that treadmill. It is raining hard right now, so not even considering doing anything outside today.

Company arriving in about 2.5 hours........so, that is my day.

149# today, 1.5# over ticker.  :? It is going to be ticker weight OR lower by roll call on Sunday (yep, that is why I'm being a good girl and drinking my water).......

Thanks for the encouragement.......LOL

Tee,

Maybe you don't want to talk exercise, but....

I have come to the conclusion that lower weight does not necessarily equal a trim looking body. (Not just from my own experience, but from many other people and also trainers) Since I have started excising I have seen a big difference in my body shape and tone, especially muffin top, tummy, bra back and arms (gravity is a real drag though :D ). Maybe struggling for a lower weight isn't your answer. I know some people are going to be outraged :x that I would suggest that perhaps you are already at a good weight and you simply need toning, but this is just my opinion. We pick our weight goals in an almost arbitrary manor when we start MF and then act like it is some sort of failure if we don't meet that goal, when perhaps it wasn't the right goal to start with. There is no harm in re-evaluating.

I have never been a person that exercises, but now that I see and feel the benefits I have a whole new attitude!

Why not join some sort of exercise class. :exercise: Gets you out of the house, has social interaction and it can be lots of fun and motivating. I am loving my Pilates and yoga. Though I walk every day by myself, I also meet with a walking group led by a trainer every couple weeks or so. It helps to challenge me a little. Make your exercise fun. Plus, exercise is so essential for maintaining weight and just feeling good.

You have done so great with your weight loss, now have some fun with exercise and I think you will be amazed in your body changes. BTW, a gal in my Pilates class has lost a whole dress size in 2 months with no other changes in her lifestyle!

I know I don’t post much in your journal, but I really wanted to share this with you.

Thank you Mickey. I appreciate your input. I've wondered about the goal number I've chosen. I still think it is an appropriate amount but I do know that when we set our goals, we haven't any idea of what our bodies will look like at that weight. Is the goal too low, is it too high.....I'm still not positive that I need to lose more weight but toning is definitely needed. I'm going to be thinking about every thing you've brought up as much of it has been on my mind already. It is good to know about the sculpting and toning that you are seeing and hearing about.......

Thanks again.

Final tally for yesterday was 88 oz of water.

Today, so far 3 cups before 7:30 a.m. (blech!).

Weight after drinking all that water yesterday? Up another .5# . :?

This, too, shall pass..................

Blech on water consumption!

;)
