same weight, different day.

We had to put our 17.5 year old cat down yesterday due to renal failure. I didn't feel like eating so that was one good thing out of the day. I've known for 2 weeks that the time was coming to make the decision so a part of me is glad that I don't have to watch him decline and to watch for the day that he showed he was suffering too much to go on any longer and another part of me is incredibly selfish and wishes he was still here. Anyway..it was the right decision and the right timing---as right as it ever can be.

So.......I'm still hoping to see 147 by roll call, but I'd better begin doing jumping jacks, taking steam baths or something soon. ;)

Hey T, just stopping by to check in on you. I haven't had much time lately to read and post but I will catch up eventually. Your doing so good on your medifast journey and I hope you hit that 147 Sunday.

I'm so sorry about the kitty. I am always selfish about it too when it comes to pets but then have to realize what is best... :heart:

I missed the part about your kitty. So sorry. We get so attached to our pets don't we? They are just like another part of our family.

Still missing that darn cat like crazy. He was my velcro buddy and although it bugged me to have him in my lap 'every time' I sat down, now it is the biggest hole in my life to sit and not see him coming. :? DH said this morning "do not go buy another cat, we could never replace him" which is true........but how did he know I was considering it? I won't.

147.5# this morning! New all time low weight and hopefully knocking another .5 off by tomorrow's roll call just may happen.

147.5# so didn't hit the 147 desired, but it is nice to have dropped below the 148 number (finally, LOL). I have been the cause of the plateau, guess I could sugar coat it and call it maintenance training... ;)

Well, I've been fooling around since mid-September according to my daily food journal and my scale numbers.........it is ridiculous to keep sabotaging myself so it can't be sugar-coated (for me) any longer. I need to have Lizabette's whip or skinny stick hitting me on the head to keep me from continuing the same silly (stupid) food mistakes.

Thank you HB......wind storm??? Is there a wind storm coming??? I guess I should check weather dot com or noaa dot gov on occasion. Batten down the hatches!!! (hey, the hay finally arrived!!! Good stuff!!!)
