Ended up with just a trim (was pretty positive that was what I'd decide). The stylist said "your life is so busy and you don't have time to mess with your hair so keep it long and pull it back as you've been doing......" LOL---she made me sound more like a mom of young kids instead of a grandmother who babysits. But, I agree--right now I'm not ready for shorter hair that might need more than a brushing and scrunchie to get me through the day.

I did look at magazines and online for hairstyles, but most looked too much like something you'd see on a model runway and not real life in a country town hair styles. Maybe I'll do it (cut it short) in a couple months (dead of winter? brrrr!) after I've mull it over more and looked further. I'm hoping my skin will look less wrinkled and nicer in a few months.

My hair has begun falling out much more than normal. That concerns me a bit, but I also feel lucky that I've been on program for this long before it began happening.

This morning I'm below ticker (149) but still 1# heavier than roll call 2 weeks ago. The babies will arrive this morning and stay until tomorrow night so food challenges will be happening due to handling snacky things that they get and also how tired I become (my resistance to nibbling still gets lower when I'm stressed or overwhelmed). I've got 2 packs of sugar free gum sitting on the counter---easy to grab throughout the next 2 days as often as needed.

Mindset is great, devotion to program is back in full force, willpower is high, goal is near and expectation is excellent. Recipe for success is complete. :D

NSV (non-scale victory): had 2 recently. Bought 2 things from JJill recently. Size Medium dress and size Medium sweater........ both sent back because they were swimming on me. I don't know if their things run big all of a sudden or if I've lost more inches (guess I could check the inches, haven't done measurements for a very long time). Had to send them back with the return code of '24' (too big). LOL Felt lovely even though it is a pain in the patootie to send things back. Second NSV was seeing someone that one of my kids dated 12 years ago....loved this person's personality and was disappointed when they were no longer a part of our 'family' . When I said 'hello' they smiled but then looked confused and away. I had to tell them who I was....then got a huge hug and heard 'You've lost a lot of weight and look wonderful'. LOL

So...... Will check in as I can around the babies. They are climbing on furniture now (onto sofas, chairs and onto the top of the coffee table if I'm not stopping them).......so babysitting is a bit more challenging right now. LOL

Make it a great, compliant day!

148# this morning. 64# gone (forever!) and only 8# to goal. :D Beautiful sunny (but cold -- 29° ) morning here. I have a lot to do in the house (how does that happen constantly) and I'm hoping that today will be the day that I get on the elliptical or the treadmill (we'll see as I say 'today is the day' too often without following through).

Wow! 148!! Good for you. You are doing so great, getting so close to goal!

My hair is thinning something terrible lately. Last time I did MF it was really bad, but this time I think taking biotin and Flax seed oil have helped a lot. Well, the good thing is it comes back pretty quickly.

Hi Tawanda! Good job on the 148! You are getting so close to goal! How exciting! Are you getting used to being slim and trim yet? Or do you wonder for a second who that slim woman is when you see your reflection? I have a long way to go yet but I am surprised sometimes when I see myself and often am surprised to see my clothes are so baggy!

148# again this a.m.

Yesterday was a screwy day with timing of supplements (and number of supplements). At church I worked in the Toddler nursery (NEVER AGAIN!!! I don't have the patience or fortitude to be around 6 screaming, running, wild 2.5 to 3.5 year olds!!!---give me the younger kids). Then we went grocery shopping, then home for a couple hours. We went to the 'harvest party' at church to help with the grandkids (I held the baby while DH went around to do the games, etc. with oldest grand (4 years old) while his momma manned a game area). Back home by 7 p.m.

Linda, yes, I'm still adjusting to the reflection in the mirror and store windows. Right now I'm at a point where I'm feeling that I look 'heavier' again. I don't know why, but it appears to *me* that I look like I have a fuller belly and wider waist? I don't understand it---if I get use to how I look and then begin picking apart what is left to change? How I can look so thin one day and then look in the mirror to see 'blech' the next.....weird.

I bought 3 more pairs of the size 6 stretch jeans --- brown, black and another denim. I wore a baby blue cabled sweater with the brown jeans and some brown boots yesterday. Received some nice compliments but just felt that I looked 'bigger'. Hmmmm.

.

I am the exact same way. When I was dressing for my audition I swear every outfit I convinced myself made me look pregnant! I can look at pictures of myself on here where I weighed more but I still feel I am looking fatter!

Ditto....

T--I feel pretty confident that you aren't looking big to others in your size 6's. ;) Maybe someday our brains will catch up!

Have a great week!

Morning!

Yesterday was a stressful and difficult day. I cannot say that I handle stress and chaos well --- yet.

Weight this morning was 148.5# I am not feeling 100% and know that I need to get more fiber into my diet. I use to use Benefiber each morning but we switched over to fiber capsules. DH has found they work better with his body (less bloating, gas and discomfort) but I found that I wouldn't take them.......they do have to be taken with a glass of water and I don't 'do' water in the a.m. --- by the late morning, I'd forget or keep putting it off to take them. The Benefiber goes into my first cup of coffee and then it is a done deal......no more thinking, no swallowing 3 large dry pills (blech) and no water needing to be drank first thing in the a.m.

I know, I know, it wouldn't hurt me a bit to be drinking water first thing in the a.m and it would actually help me a lot...

I bought some Benefiber Monday and hope to feel lots better soon......

'nuff of that talk....... ;)

I'm not positive what direction I'm going to go with my day today. Many things that I could do, need to be done and accomplished, but I'm not sure what I will put at the top of my 'to do' list today.

How'd I miss those photos before? You look fantastic in those jeans!!

I have problems with the JJill jeans. Petite's too short (which is weird, given my lack of height) and the regulars are too long in the leg and torso. Sigh.
