Love the quote, T. I'm gonna post it in my pantry for times when I'm not hungry, just bored and I wander in there looking for something to do, hehe.

I love the Swiffer, too, especially when someone else is using it on my floors.

Well, the pesky pound is gone again. I did drink 8 glasses of water yesterday (yea me!) although it is a pretty sad and sorry state of affairs when I'm excited over drinking the bare minimum of water suggested to consume each day. :?

Both babies now crawl, but for quite awhile one would get around by doing a military guerilla type of crawl. So the fronts of clothing were often showing me how pristine (or not ) my floors were. Now it is knees and toes that show the tell tale story of floor cleanliness.

Visiting with my friend was wonderful yesterday. Well worth the time spent fussing over the housework.

Morning T! I didn't do as well on my water last week, some days it's just hard. I have a 22 oz. cup I try to fill up 4-5 times a day and record it in my food journal. If I didn't drink coffee until late morning I would probably be able to get in more water.

Glad you had fun with your friend yesterday, how fun for you.

Hi Donna, that water is so darn hard for me. I did like Biki's suggestion/way of doing it. A glass before the first cup of coffee and then one between cups would work. Heck, I usually have 3 cups of coffee each morning and if I did drink water between......I'd be on my way (to the bathroom or to getting in 8 glasses?).

Hope you have a good day today!

Hey T...

I used to have a hard time with the water too. Not sure if you have tried this or not. I drink most of my water with a straw, not out of a bottle. I have one of those 320z sport bottles with a straw in it. It is not at all hard for me to drink at least 4 bottles a day.

Hi everyone! I am still at 160.5 (was going to just say 'at ticker weight' but since the ticker changes that doesn't help if I go back to see what I weighed on a certain date, now does it? so specific weight is mentioned..). Today is our wedding anniversary and the day that I had hoped to be 158. Yeah, right. Oh well......at least I'm not still wearing that 51.5# that I was wearing 5 months ago when I began the program. I tried to pick up a 50# bag of alfalfa cubes a few days ago but DH grabbed it from me as soon as I stood up with it (he was scolding me and saving my back because I wasn't lifting properly) so I didn't get to walk anywhere carrying that extra 50#. I wanted to do it, just to remind myself how far I've come and what a great accomplishment 50# is...another bag, another day I'll do it.

Babies should be here in about 90 minutes and I've drank 1 cup of wonderful coffee along with a freezing cold cup of water chaser. I get to go fill my coffee cup again now.....thank heavens! ;)

No anniversary celebration for us since I said I'd babysit today (I should have asked DH before taking on an extra day--because he said last week that he was hoping we'd have today together to go to the beach or something for the day.....I hate the beaches nearby--cold, windy and smell like decaying fish most of the time--- so not at all sad about missing out on that excursion......LOL) Now, a sunny, white sand beach somewhere with a cabana boy bringing little glasses of pretty liquid with umbrellas in them?? Ahhhh, that is the kind of beach that sounds great......

I'm off to get a cuppa joe and daydream of white, sandy beaches.......

Congrats on your anniversary.
Put a little umbrella in one of your drinks today and go off to "a sunny, white sand beach somewhere with a cabana boy bringing little glasses of pretty liquid with umbrellas in them" OH, and make the cabana boy a hot little number. ;) Well, if you're going to fanasty land, why not?

Happy anniversary! I think white sandy beaches are definitely in order - you need to put that on your honey-do list!

Hey, happy anniversary!!

I use the half-liter water bottles. If you have one with every meal, you're at 12 glasses for the day.

Happy anniversary to you!

And, when I need to just get the water down- I drink it at room temperature. It seems to go down easier that way... I have also heated the water and drank it out of a coffee cup- especially in cold weather. Maybe varying the temperature would help? Just a thought. ;)

I also drink my water room temp. Seems easier to chug. Every morning I fill up an 88 oz pitcher of water and set it on the counter with a 10 oz glass. I see it, I drink it. I try to have at least 4 glasses by 11:00 a.m. I read somewhere that ice water was bad for your digestive system and your body processed room temp water easier???

Now go drink some water and toast to your day!
