Here's and cheers to our own water backwash for the day!

I cracked up on the tamale description of your sleeping/snoring husband...mine does that, too.

You are working hard to improve your water slurpage - good for you. When our sleep is limited, stress levels increase, etc. those things can affect our weight loss - it sounds like you are doing all you can to help yourself to be in a better place and space emotionally - that is so important, Tawanda. You are recognizing your needs and addressing them as best you can. We are sending you a cyber hug.

I think the original scare about reusing water bottles came from an urban legend about bottles releasing cancer causing chemicals. As far as cleaning and sanitizing the word from American Plastics Council:

Cleaning Your Water Bottle: Both single-use and reusable water bottles should be thoroughly cleaned and dried between uses. Reusable water bottles generally have wider mouths, making them easier to clean. Dishwashing soap and hot water are acceptable to use for cleaning your water bottle. The risks of bacterial and fungal growth are higher if you use the bottle with a drink that contains sugars. Immediately drain, rinse, and wash your water bottle if you use it with sports drinks or juices.

Sanitizing Your Water Bottle: If you have visible bacterial slime or mold in your water bottle, you should sanitize your water bottle with a dilute bleach solution of 1 teaspoon bleach and 1 teaspoon of baking soda in 1 quart of water. Allow the solution to sit in the bottle overnight, then thoroughly rinse and dry the bottle before using it again.

Sanitizing Your Water Bottle: If you have visible bacterial slime or mold in your water bottle

Oh, Man! Mickey ~ thanks for the tips and the above will remind me to not slurp in the dark! Hmmm...guess I better wear my glasses more often, too!

Hey, I  your ticker is movin' on down the line, too - good job!

Isn't Tawanda lookin' good? I can hardly wait to meet her in The Thin - and I am gonna bip up there in our little mellow yellow Solstice one of these days real soon and do just that! I hope to have a glass of good clear well water with that thinnin' woman!

Drinking slime-free (hopefully) here at the MakeMeThinner Cottage.

Yikes. If there's visible mold or slime in your bottle ... maybe it's time to buy a new one!!

Okay, you bacteria guzzling MediFasters! ;) I had no idea there were so many of us out there.

Just finishing up bottle #2. The big brown truck just brought a large box and after I emptied the box (it is diapers), the babies decided that was a really cool toy. Yes!! Keep them happy and occupied with something new.

Nancy, I do look forward to the day I get to meet you.

Okay, box lost its appeal for one so I'd better get off here to go find another activity that will capture their attention until lunchtime.

You guys are sweet!

I had a  moment on Sunday. DH asked me how much I've lost and then asked how much I currently weighed!!!  As best I can remember the man has never asked me how much I weigh!!! I was flumoxed, didn't know how to respond.......I skirted the question and said "How much do I currrently weigh? or How much do I want to weigh?" He wanted to know both figures. YIKES!!!

So.......what's a girl to do?

I told him.

I hated telling him!

I thought about asking 'why'.......but I was driving and thought "what the heck"....so I told him exactly how much I currently weighed, how much I wanted to weigh (maximum) and then how much I weighed when I began MF   (I hated admitting that one!). Later I figured that he probably 'needed' to know my weight so he could buy me an appropriate sized diamond for our anniversary. :D  Yeah, that had to be the reason.......

Sugars!

Anyway.........today's scale visit showed the same as yesterday 161.0 . I really thought I was going to see less because I did drink 7.5 glasses of water (yeah, didn't get that last 4 oz....) and the scale showed 162 at bedtime. Whatsup with that?! Only a lousy pound for 2 late night tromps to the ladies' room?! I've been jipped! (that doesn't look right.....jipped.......hmmmm). Anyway, you know what I mean! I've been cheated. Shoulda been a lot less (hey, if my sleep is going to be interrupted, I'd better be getting something out of it!).

So..........no babysitting today (HOORAY!) but I do get to run errands (oh joy)...

I just ordered some summer tops (sleeveless tee shirts) from Lands End in size Medium.......sure hope I don't have to gift them to some tiny thing because I ordered too small.

How much do you weigh? I ask you, what kind of a question is that for a husband to ask? How much do you weigh...........grumble, grumble, grumble!

I need 3# gone in a week..........I want to be within the 'normal' BMI range as a 'gift' to DH for our anniversary.....32 years married to this guy. 32 pretty darn happy years, too......... 'cept when he asks how much do I weigh. It had better be for fitting diamonds on this new body or he's going to be one hurting puppy!

;) :roflmao:

T It is definitly The diamond.  .
You know something, my husband asked me to. I said whatever you do not need to know. He said to me that I look awesome That he was so proud of me. He told me he does not care how much I weigh. And that I did not need to tell him. I thought about this for 2 days and relized my husband loves me at any weight. I told him. And he gave me a big kiss and said He was proud of me. ANd the next day he bought me one single rose :) . I love that guy. Your husband is probably just proud of you. To be honest guys do not know how a woman feels, and do not relize that we have more emotions.
But U GIRL are doing FABULOUS

:drive: be careful driving out there today, it's slippery.

Ok, You are funny, no hysterical today :bouncieball:
I bet you are right, he needs to know how much you weigh to calculate your finger size, yep, that's it.

I blurted out 218lbs in front of dh awhile ago. He said Ohhh, so . .,..then he was silent. I knew what the silence was, figuring the starting weight with how much I had loss. The other day he said, well you must be getting close to the 100's eh? ewwww, he knows too much.
Tho I have told 3 girlfriends how much I started with, of corse they say, oh you never looked that big. ,( sheeesh she really was a barge).

oopps sorry T, stole your post.

32 years, you guys go. you and mr enchilada.

have a day for T.
and I have contemplated tawanda some more, no.
still waiting for the bebes.
loves,

I ordered some size mediums from Land's End months ago and they even fit with this busom. You should be fine. They may be too loose for you but I like a relatively snug tshirt or tank.

Oh, and in terms of my husband knowing my starting weight, he had to know because we had an analog/dial scale at the time and I couldn't read it without bending over and changing the reading because my chest was too big for me to read over the girls. I now have a digital scale I can read easily on my own. He still checks in with me about my weight and is very proud of me.

Up .5# this morning and I don't even care. :|

Babies should arrive in about 90 minutes so I'm having a RTD as my breakfast along with a cuppa coffee. Yesterday was another day that I did not drink 64 oz of water. I'm guessing that I drank 58 oz or so from what is left in bottle #4. It is a new day and a new opportunity to drink enough water to float my lungs. :? Blech!

Loved your post T; gotta good laugh out of it. Happy upcoming anniversary!

Your braver than I am with the scale. I think I would get depressed weighing in every day just because of the ups-and-downs.

Have a good day with the babies.
