I don't know why Nickie would think that I'd tease someone??
Really, though...I think the more water you drink the more weight you see flushed away. Not enough water to be dangerous, of course, but Mizz T, I really believe that you would experience a noticeable difference if you drank more like 90 oz. of water per day and not just "make it" to the 64 oz. mark.

I've never had a problem in the water dept, though, so it's easy for me to say. 64 oz would not be enough to even hydrate me, much less aid in weight loss. ;)

I'm just saying.

96 oz of water so far and I may drink a bit more before bedtime. It is hot even with the a/c going and the day has been very busy so the water drinking this afternoon wasn't difficult to do.

We're having a barbecue here tomorrow for out of town relatives that wanted to come out to the house. Babies went home, I made dinner and then kicked it into high gear (well as high of a gear as this ole gal can kick it after watching two little ones for 9 hours) to get the house sparkly clean. I have to leave early tomorrow morning (6:45) to watch my other g'kids while their mom does a CPR class and then come back home by 12:30 so that I can watch the twins for the rest of the day and have them overnight and most of Thursday. Then the barbecue tomorrow evening. Yeah, I'm tired already just thinking about it. I cannot fathom how hard it would be to do all of this if I was still carrying around the extra 50# and the sad demeanor that went with it.

Well...guess I should go get back to flinging the magic dust around to make the house sparkle................. Magic dust.....LOL how about good old elbow grease and sweat. ;)

I'm hoping tomorrow is the day we'll see Biki back posting with us......

Thanks everyone for your congrats today.

'kay, back to the coal mines.......

Drank 2 more glasses before going to bed last night......only got up once during the night  and the scale shows me up .5 . I'm too tired and grumpy to care.

I've got to leave here in less than an hour and my computer time today is probably going to be nil.

Hope everyone has a great day and hope to see Biki posting soon.

It is one of those days where if I weren't on MF and hadn't just made the commitment to the 100 day challenge that I'd throw my hands up and then into the nearest chip bag and/or ice cream carton.

I'm frustrated, overwhelmed, angry and tired. I decided that I needed some "me" time so I'm sitting here reading the posts while the babies are (hopefully) settling down for a nap. I just need to take some deep breaths and work through that this is a temporary busy time and that my life will not continue to be taken over by the needs of others. I keep reminding myself that I'm the one who has offered my services and time to others.......if I don't want to feel this way (tired, frustrated and resentful) then I am in control of saying yes or no. There is no one to be upset with other than myself. You can only be stepped on if you lay down....and I've been throwing myself on the ground a bit too often apparently (since I'm getting upset over things).

So......deep breath, I will read the rest of the forums and then go make myself some soup....and get things ready for tonight.

This too shall pass.......

Hang in there. I know you must be feeling a little overwhelmed right now with everything that is on your plate.

You are such a giving person, but it's good that you are seeing you may need to reconsider your boundaries. "No" is such a hard word to the people you love and support, but you know they would understand.

Do your best to relax and enjoy your evening...and then get some rest.

Count me in there, too. But yeah, T, maybe it's time to take a day off from everyone else's needs and just take care of yourSELF.

With all that you do for everyone, your family would probably be the first to agree you deserve some time off.

TEE, my little friend, Your resolve is really being 'challenged'!
But it is comforting to know you have all the support of everyone cheering you on. :cheerleader:
And you are in control here.
Wish we could share a cuppa coffee now.
I'm thinking of you...

It can be a hard thing to take time for yourself - I know I always felt lazy or selfish. But it really is necessary and you know that, so I'll stop talking now. Hope you get a T-day very soon!
