Tawanda wrote:Sue, wish you had taken a photo! ;) Time for you to go through your clothes, trying them all on and setting aside those too big. I enjoyed spending hours doing that a few weeks ago...it was exhilerating along with a bit sad (I liked a few of the clothes that are too big--but not enough to gain the weight back ;) )..

One time I tried to wear a skirt off I had ordered off Ebay I hadn't had a chance to wear yet and the only way to keep it up was to safety pin it to my underwear. I gave up after an hour or so.

Weight holding steady at 3.5 below ticker (yes!!) I'm only 2# away from the 50# club which is exciting for me to imagine.

I'm still feeling weak and a bit 'off'. I did get 3 supplements in yesterday but didn't feel that I could do more. I did have a partial L & G also, hoping the protein might be bland enough (baked chicken) to help give me some added boost. I also stuck with sipping flat diet 7 up to keep the stomach happy and just a few glasses (maybe 3?) of water. Today I'm thinking I will get all 5 supplements, work on all water--no diet 7 up and just let the stomach react as it will since I don't have the babies or other commitments. I need to get some energy back and I cannot do that without fuel. Oh! I'm enjoying my second cup of coffee today, too....(had caffeine withdrawal headache yesterday and again this a.m). So far the belly isn't rumbling and I'm cautiously optomistic that I can be back to doing the program all day.

I finally remembered to take my 20 week measurements (I do it every 4 weeks--when I remember, ). I've lost a total of 48# and 52.75" in 20.5 weeks. I take measurements of ankles, calves, thighs, neck, biceps ---okay, I don't have biceps but I do take a measurement of where they would be if I had them :D, wrists, bust, below the bust, ribcage, waist, abdomen & hips---if anyone wonders where all those inches are recorded from.

I am thankful that I found MediFast, Nancy and for those of you here who support and encourage me. :D

Hope everyone has a nice Independence Day!

Good heavens!!! I never thought of it in that way!! WOW! LOL Thank you for that visual.

I just walked down to our mailbox and back up to the house (hadn't checked mail for 2 days) and felt a bit dizzy and ill (it is 82° already, too). I have no stamina right now so will take it easy and get myself back into the medi-groove today.

Hope you have a happy 4th. :)

Biki, you're still 5 ahead of me and I'm due for a stall soon.....so you'll widen the lead once again. I do think we're at the same amount to lose to goal though (I did start out with 135 as my goal but upped it to 140 a few months ago). I do not know that I'm going to be content, long term, at 140---I sure look like this body needs more than 24# gone. ;) But will see when I get there (almost said *if* I get there  where the heck did that *if* come from?!).

I've had some water (not even 4 glasses yet ) and 2 supplements. Time for #3 soon and I'll get that water drank, too.

DH is out mowing the backyard. I'm already hiding indoors as I wilt once it gets over 85 and it is 86. ;)

I haven't heard not one firecracker so far today.......we're usually hearing lots of them by now. All the firecracker lighters must have grown up? ;) Nah, I didn't think so either.

You are not due a stall and take away that "if". I predict a 4 or 5 pound loss for you this week, you deserve it! It is only Wednesday and you have 3.5, right? Just continue with your Tawanda Water Challenge and you should be fine. As I was crossing the street earlier, I heard 4 firecrackers. This being DC, my first thought was gunshots though! Oh, I am probably lowering my goal weight so you will pass me sooner or later.
