Same weight again this morning (up .5 over ticker weight). My weight loss stats (according to Fitday) are really dropping over these last 4-5 weeks unfortunately. I'm just over 2# week, which is still excellent considering we always hear "lose only 1 or 2# week".....but I really liked seeing 2.5# a week at least since that would give me 10# lost per month. ;) Oh well......8# a month isn't anything to sneeze at either.

I'm having a lot of trouble the past two days with logging onto the internet for some reason. We have satellite internet (only thing offered out here in the boonies other than dial up) and don't know what is up with it......so if you don't see me posting, just know I've been cut off by some space monster blocking my signal for a bit. ;)

I did drink just over 64 oz yesterday.....and today I'm going to work on getting 80 oz drank. I accomplished a lot yesterday on the organizing/tossing/rearranging in the house. I feel a bit drained today but think it is just the stuffed up head & sore throat sucking the energy--as it does for everyone. Should be back to perfect   ;) soon.

Need more coffee....

OH!! NSV late last night. I ordered some new jeans online and they arrived -- stretch jeans (makes a big difference) in sizes 12 and 10.....I tried on the 12 and they fit fine! No muffin top hanging over (although it was close to being one). Now, I have some 16s that are not stretch that also fit, too.......so sizes are so ambiguous---but these new jeans are my favorites (fit and feel) so a 12 was pretty awesome.

Thanks Pinks.

Biki, I have some 16 shorts (denim, non stretch) that just barely fit so don't be envious........I think it is brand, fabric and varying sizing by the manufacturers---not that my measurements are smaller than yours.

It took me a couple hours and half dozen tries throughout that time, to get logged back in here. :?

When I got back from the dink it took me 20 minutes or so before I could get logged on. Okay, but when you get into a 10 I don't want to hear it! j/k

Biki, the jeans are nothing special........JCPenney's brand - St. Johns Bay original fit, stretch denim. I like the way they fit my body and how the fabric feels.

I know how you feel, isn't it great?? ... my size 12 shorts and capris are beginning to get too loose. Never thought I'd have that problem!! Seems like the sizes are moving down a lot faster now. Having to keep getting new things, I'm glad I've kept my wardrobe on the lean side (no pun intended! :roflmao: ) I'm so delighted for you, Tawanda!!

I will look them up. The only denim pants I have are some denim leggings that are now baggy from Lane Bryant I have had for a year.

I looked but better go somewhere where I can try them on. Even when I was thin I hated picking out jeans. I just tried on some other 16's I got off ebay and with no Spanx they still didn't fit!

Jeans are a very personal thing. Every body is different and jeans have to feel just right. I've never been able to take anyone else's advice about "great fitting" jeans......but if you're interested, jjill is my brand, hehe.

I like to try jeans on before buying, too. I had a pair of these jeans a few years ago, outgrew them  and now they are too big (yea!) so I decided they would be great ones to buy again in a couple smaller sizes while I'm still losing.

I like the looks of the jjill jeans....but thought I'd wait until goal and then try them on when I'm out looking for the right ones for my smaller body (eager for that day).

Farrier has been here to trim the horse's hooves and now I'm just killing time (with a swelled head in my new size 12 jeans :D) until my doctor's appointment. I just weighed myself (near the scale as I was getting ready to head to town so I 'had' to weigh) and it showed 168.5. Whatssup with that? 170 this a.m. and now 168.5. It doesn't count unless it is the first weigh of the day.....but still tweaking at my mind as to 'what the heck?' I'll be impressed if that weight is still there tomorrow a.m.

TEE, Grats on the size 12 jeans! They will soon be too small, so enjoy them while you can!
I like St. John's Bay, too!
Oh, tell you what I do...If I weight more than once, I use the smallest number for my daily weight...just me.

Haven't you gloated enough???  12! 12! 12!

What it tells me if you haven't had enough water. Did you get those 80 oz in? It weighs a lot even if you are tinkling frequently. I weigh 168.5 right now, 7 pounds over ticker because I have had 104 oz of water today. tsk. tsk. (you know I am giving you a hard time because of those jeans!)
