I DID IT!!!!

40# in 16 weeks!!!!!

Yahooooo!!! I did it!!!! I made it!!!!! 40# in 4 months!!!!!

I'm debating over whether or not to change my ticker---but since roll call is tomorrow, I'll wait to change it then (I can wait 24 hours since I'm screaming and jumping up and down right now :lol: ).

Last night, while digging through some papers trying to find a certain sock knitting pattern, I found my measurements that I took 3 days after I began MF back in February. I've lost 47.25 inches in 16 weeks !! Yes, 47.25 inches!!! I take measurements of ankles, calves, thighs, neck, bicep area, hips, abdomen, waist, ribcage, bra band area and bust. I carried the majority of my weight in my trunk so I took measurements from a lot of the areas there (thus the ribs & bra band area).

Don't be thinking I'm not doing a happy dance nor smiling huge!! :D

Thanks everyone and thanks to whomever changed me to the 40# club (Mike? :) ).

I think what impresses and amazes me the most is the inches lost. I have been watching the pounds go away and focused on that all the time these past 16 weeks, but the inches lost.....even though I've taken my measurements every 4 weeks I've never compared the measurements that I've taken. Also, I hadn't know where I started because I couldn't find the piece of paper that I had written the measurements down on (I thought I hid it, didn't know it was just misplaced because of a messy desk :oops: ). So to tally up the inches that I wrote down in February and then tallied up today's measurements and to see the difference---wow! I still haven't looked at the numbers to see how much I've taken off of each body area --- Okay, just checked my waist measurements and I've lost 7.25" in my waist alone. Wow!!

This program is awesome!! :D And so are you guys. I couldn't be doing it this easily without your encouragement, support and fun interaction. Thank you.

I gained back .5 this morning according to the darn scale! I thought about going back to bed for awhile (it was 5:30 when I weighed) but decided I'd just deal with it. I thought about fibbing (sounds better than lying but they are both the same and make me feel terrible when I consider it---I just had to decide if I felt more terrible in fibbing/lying to you guys in roll call and on my ticker -- than how horrible I feel in not getting to put 40# lost on my ticker today). So.....honesty won out and I'm still grumbling about my body deciding that .5 of water needed to be retained this morning. :x

Anyway......I will change my ticker mid week when that lousy .5 goes away again! :lol: I should have done it yesterday so I could have at least looked at it for 24 hours....
