T, I'm thinking of you this morning and hoping that you see some action soon.....on the scale, that is.

I am piggybacking on Joleen's post but me too! My scale moved a lot but that's a different story.

Okay, I know you aren't happy about your record breaking, but you just beat my 11 day stall.

Ok, today you will sweat the pounds away :shades:

From one farm girl to another, imainge this:
In the book Seabiscuit, they talk about the jockeys trying to get to weight before a race. This was donw in Mexico. The jocks would sleep in the dung piles and sweat off the pounds

Hope this isnt too drastic for you......
hb

my apologies to the faint.

:roflmao: I must remeber to ask hb for advice next time I'm stuck on a plateau! :roflmao:

You can do this, T. Remember, there are plenty of good reasons we do Medifast that have nothing to do with the scale. Like the peace of mind that comes when food isn't ruling our lives...Or maybe that's just mine. But please hang in there. The scale will do it's thing soon.

Hi, just home from town. I took two shakes with me and was able to stick to program but I've drank no water yet today so will be making it a priority to get at least 4 glasses down in the next 90 minutes or so. I am hot & sticky so rolling around in the dung pile might not make a big difference  --- yeah right HB!! I'm going to stick with the plateau if my only other option is to sleep in a dung pile, thankyouverymuch. ;)

Jo.........14 days? :? I sure hope not, but right now it wouldn't surprise me. Each morning I get up expecting to see the scale show a nice loss.....each day I am surprised (dismayed) that it doesn't. It will--and I would guess it should happen soon! (I hope)

Mavesse.....you are right, there are more reasons than the scale, but doggone it -- the scale and numbers seems to be the primary one right now .

Okay, I'm going to read what I've missed these past 6.5 hours as I drink my water.

Thanks everyone! :D

I did drink my 8 glasses of water and am working on another 10 oz before I head to bed. I've got my pudding ready to eat and the day went well. I hope the scale shows a loss tomorrow morning.

Well..........day 13.............and yep! I'm down a pound (finally!!!!). Whooo- HOOOOOO!

I'm only 1.5# shy of joining the 40# club! I really want that club by Saturday morning's weigh in (I'll have just finished week 16 so it would be 40# in 4 months). Don't know if it will happen since my losses have been so slow lately, but I'm hoping it will.

I still have almost 35# to lose.......I hope the losses don't slow down this much from here on down---this is excruciatingly slow, hard on my fists (from beating on the desk) and I'm going to have a huge bruise on my forehead (from beating it on the wall above the scale each morning of my plateau) ;)

Yahhooooo! down a pound!! The only bad thing about it is that I missed besting Jo's 14 day plateau....shucks (not really sad about that one, let me tell you!!). ;) :D

See, I told you so!!! I just knew it! It is so exciting that you will be in the 40 club in just a matter of one or two days! I have faith that you have waited so long that the weight will just melt away. More cheerleaders are required! :cleader: :cleader:

I have about the same amount to lose as you do so let's pray for no more long plateaus for either of us and compliance for me!
