good morning T.
Iam tremendously moved by your thoughts.
I find it strange how the subconscience remembers these dates, events, and then we get an aha moment of what all the fretting is about.
Please take care and continue in your strength.

ps I did pm you yesterday, but I think those dang leaves got in the way for anything sent to Washington.

Yeah, that's the problem with unpeeling the layers of an onion, it stinks. But is generally good for you.

Day 11 of yo-yo-ing with the same pound. .5 up .5 down, 1 up .5 down, .5 down, .5 up.........arugh!!!

Deep breath............this too shall pass.

This is dropping my weight loss average horribly (per Fitday) which is more depressing than seeing the same numbers on the flippin' scale. FD projects what your weight will be in 4 weeks and 8 weeks by what your weight loss weekly average is at each weigh in. I'm seeing the odds of hitting goal in August dwindling fast.

I drank about 80 oz of water yesterday (64 is my daily goal and I usually do drink that much along with 3 or 4 cups of coffee). I know this is a temporary thing but dang it........this 11 days has been the longest stall that I've had to deal with---there is no option but to just keep my head down and plod along as I have been and QUIT thinking about the darn scale being stuck. I could kick the frustration aside if my clothing was getting looser or if I looked different in the mirror---but nada on any changes that I can detect, and I've been checking hourly. ;)

This too shall pass.......this too shall pass..........this too shall pass........fingers crossed that it will happen soon! :D (never said I was a patient person).

T- We are almost the same weight with the same amount to go and I am getting turtle losses as well. Nothing for the past few days. My only big loss was my TOM water retention which gave me a pound loss last week. So I know how you feel. I did 11 days too a few weeks ago. You can get through this. Just keep on drinking water and keep those eyes on the prize.

Double hmph!

;)

I'm babysitting g'babies today so free time is limited -- they are napping right now and I have brownies baking in the oven for DH's lunches-- It is a beautiful day outside! I've been watching the hummingbirds fighting over their feeders....silly little things.

Hope it is a good day for everyone!

Dang but today is a struggle to stick to program. I've gone to my MF cupboard twice in the last 45 minutes to grab another bar (had one already). Thankfully I've walked away (without the bar) but I hate these times/days where I just want to give up and give in.

I'm going to do just fine (I truly do want to win this weight battle) but wanted to document here, for myself, that some days are just extremely hard to keep my focus. I do think it is tied to not seeing any weight loss for quite awhile and also no visible change in my body along with the recent emotional days I've had. I just need to stay focused, strong and get through this....

Babies are napping and I'm going to take my water and go begin knitting another sock--this one will be with 'pretty' sock yarn. The last one was just for practice.

Tawanda - your posts for the past couple of days have been very insightful. I agree with your assessment of this forum and it really comes down to how much effort we want to put into this. I love you guys. I have been off program for almost two weeks (back on today) and I knew that I was off for a purpose - come on - I was pretty sick there and needed to get my strength back - but I thought of you guys all the time and I actually felt guilty that I was not on program - go figure. I think once you link yourself into this forum - you start to be accountable to others.

I am so sorry to hear about your father and what you endured going through it. It's great however how you are working all of this out in your life. The quiet time you talked about or your thinking while you were mowing is really helping you to move forward in your journey.

I have said it before and I will say it again - I see you as a very strong person who will reach their goal - both in weight and whatever other issues you need to work through. You also are a ray of light to this forum and I want to thank you for that. :D

Hi guys!

Well, I made it through the day on program!! I had my doubts for awhile this afternoon, but I did just fine and have one more supplement to have before bedtime (I usually have a pudding for my last supplement as it seems like I'm getting a dessert each night). I've drank 84 oz. of water today......I sure hope the scale is my friend tomorrow! It will make life so much easier if it would just show a loss each and every day........I mean, is that so much to ask for? ;) Okay, so a loss every couple of days would even be okay just so long as the scale never gets stuck again.

Well, a little bit more water to drink and I'm going to go make that pudding.........

Thanks for the support and encouragement. :D
