What do you mean, at your age?
You are young, girl, and I really think you will tighten up...that's why it's good not to lose too fast!
Whoohoo, you are doing great, TEE, and that is not idle talk!

Hi Lizabette, I wondered about my choice of words when I said 'at my age', lol, just meant that after 40 isn't it suppose to be that skin becomes less elastic? My mother is very wrinkled and I see that happening to my face also. Jowls, turkey wattle and eye crinkles. The eye crinkles don't bother me at all-----just shows that I smile a lot and that can never be any thing but a positive trait (in my mind).....but the jowls and the turkey wattle wrinkles...... :( those make me sad. But I did it to myself by gaining all the weight. Maybe my body will be more forgiving than I expect and the skin will not look as saggy next year....but if it does, well----------I'll use duct tape below my hairline in the back, just attach an end of the tape under each ear and pull it taunt to the back. :) It should work so long as I keep my hair long and no wind blows it back to show the tape. 8) ;)

Lost the .5, but was hoping it would be more (of course :roflmao: )

I've been going through my clothes and have bags of things that are too big to gift to others at church or to donate to charity. It feels good to be too small for the 18s and many of the 16s, but it also feels weird to lose so fast and have to say 'good-bye' to things that were favorites (I know others have shared this, too). I want to say g'bye to the sizes.....but a few things just felt scrumptious or were still 'nice'. The next person will enjoy them and I just keep reminding myself that I'll find other 'scrumptious' feeling clothing and in much smaller sizes.

DH mentioned taking me to buy a new coat when I mentioned that I looked a bit somber for springtime in my black one when we were going to church on Sunday. I told him that I still had a lot of weight yet to lose and didn't want to buy something that wouldn't fit soon. He wondered if the weight, to still lose, would mean a coat wouldn't still fit. Hmmmmm, LOL, he just doesn't know what is going to hit him when his formerly fluffy (very fluffy) wife gets down to goal. ;) New wardrobe this winter.....going to hurt his wallet and I bet he won't mind one little bit.

I'm often getting hugs and held as he marvels about having a thinner waist to wrap his arm around. Those are the NSVs that I cherish right now.

I'm planning on having a great day....hope everyone else enjoys one, too.

I also know exactly how you're feeling about letting go of your most "familiar" pals (clothes)...i'm going through the same thing, but i'm also EXCITED about getting brand new smaller ones:+))))

You're doing GREAT! Keep on shakin!!

T,
My hubby does the same thing. Makes you feel great! Congrats on the clothes being too big. I to am a little sad that some of my favorites are way to big. I have started to like to shop again!

Hi T!
I am reading the posts & wanted to say I love why you chose your name!!! Very cool. Looking forward to cheering you on as you reach goal and tell us your real name. Meanwhile, you seem to be doing very well having only been on MF a few months! I can't wait to be where you are, too.

Have a GREAT day!
Donna :)

-.5 again this morning which puts me .5 below my lowest Medifast weight and smack dab in the middle of the amount of weight I needed to lose to get to goal (36# down and 36# to goal). This is week 14 of being on program.......I wonder how many more weeks it will take to get the next 36# off.. 16? 20? 24? Doesn't really matter because I'm committed no matter how long it takes, but I admit to being curious. I'm going to guess 20 weeks---so that will put me at goal the first week of October. Just putting that here to see how close I get to my prediction or as a challenge to see if I can do it sooner (I'm hoping I can).

Enjoy your day.....I'm planning on enjoying mine!

Congratulations!!!! I was just calculating last night how much I'd need to lose to get half-way to goal. How exciting for you to be there!
