Tawanda - shopping in your closet can be great fun, too, don't knock it! I've done both - but I try to remember that I won't be this size for long, either, so I shouldn't waste money. I was looking forward to buying new summer clothes, but I tried on my old ones and they fit fine - *sigh.* Don't even need a new bathing suit since I was squeezing into it last year so this year it'll probably be the right size. But I'll live.

I hope you have another great day today! I imagine the boards will get a little sparse when the good weather gets here permanently, because we'll all be taking our new thinner bodies out to play instead of sitting online. 8)

Pas moi! I dread the sun and it's rays and slather myself in SPF 30 even on overcast days. I also hate to sweat-hence my early morning walks when it is still cool. Thanks for reminding me to shop my closet. I had a few items from EBAY that didn't fit yet or made me look like a sausage and want to see if I have made any progress!

The day is shooting by quickly--I thought I would pop in so I could journal my weight today....I'm back down the 1# I had regained and now am just .5 from losing 30#. :)

I need to go....am babysitting g'children today and they need my attention. Hope everyone is having a good day. :wavie:

Hi Tawanda - I have only been closet shopping myself since I have loads of clothes from 3-4 years ago that are starting to fit again.

I love your attitude with your stall. You have such the right mind-set. I was grumpy (pms-ing also didn't help) and if it weren't for all of you guys - I probably would have thrown in the towel.

You will be rewarded for your efforts - it will pay off!!

Good morning!

Thank you Suzy for your kind words. It sounds like many are closet shopping during their thinning days. :D I do look forward to the day that I *need* to go clothes shopping somewhere other than home (that would mean I've gotten smaller than a size 12 I believe).

Well, I got the .5# change that I was hoping for this morning!!! :D

I just forgot to stress DOWN .5# was what I was hoping for, :? Not .5# UP which is what I saw.

Oh well............now it is an even pound that I need to lose to get to the 30# club.

Oh well! LOL It will be gone soon. I'm not worried about it a bit. The MF program works so well, I'm just amazed as I watch the inches and pounds leave my body. :D

Hope the day is a good one for everyone.

Tawanda, 1 lb, 1lb, think positive thoughts on what you will look like 1lb lighter, in the 30lb club. Sounds like mumbo -jumbo! But it's better than stressing.
Have a good lean day

Tawanda~ You and I are both so close to a new club. Don't worry.....we will get there. I mean we can't be stuck here forever, right?

Okay so HB's post had me laughing. Suzy, I'm glad you didn't throw in the towel during your PMSing, there are so many who have posted since I joined MMT and now are gone. I'm sad that they've left or aren't sharing and wonder if I could have done something to make it so that they would have continued posting and their journey with MF---or perhaps they just weren't ready and it wasn't the time that they could stick to program.....Biki, that darn scale---if it would only do as we want it to.......how good life would be ;) . Donica, you made it to your new club and on your birthday too!!! 40# lighter to celebrate your 40th birthday!! :D That is one you'll remember for a long time, I'm guessing.

I did make it to 30# lost finally. The scale flickered to 30.5 even.....but I thought it was 'happiest' and stayed longer at the 30# mark. I do wish I could toss this scale and get a different one....but that would be financially foolish and I'm trying really hard to not be FF any longer. A tough one for me sometimes!

I had another wonderful NSV from my DH this morning. He gave me a nice long hug and said "you're wasting away to nothing" as he was hugging me. I said "thank you" this time and told him I had lost 30# as of this morning but still had a lot of weight to lose yet, but that I appreciated him noticing (or something like that). He said "still a lot to lose?" I thought...."Oh yeah........still a lot to lose."

Still no one in my family & circle of friends knows that I'm doing MF and no one has noticed I've lost weight. It has become amazing to me that no one has noticed yet, but I am finding it funny instead of hurtful. Now it has become "wonder when and who will finally notice that I'm getting smaller". I do admit to hiding my loss on occasion with my clothing choices  so I know part of the lack of comments is my own fault. I am teetering on the fence about wanting it to be noticed and still wanting it to be 'all mine' and not sharing this journey of mine, with others.

Time to get the day going! Make it a good one!

!

I truly believe that most people think about themselves too much to really notice changes in others. Didn't you ever notice someone's haircut a week after it was done? I have and I consider myself a very observant person.

Yippie, the 30lb club :yippee:
Nice DH comment, forget about the others. They have no idea how much water, shakes, lean/green youve seen!
Have a happy day.

I really am very excited for you. 30# Club  WOW! You are doing so well.

Your husband is obviously noticing and seems to be enjoying what he sees. He sounds like my DH. Honestly, I think my hubby is as excited about my weight loss as I am. He sent me the sweetest email today telling me how marvelous I looked today and how he is so proud of me. Those kind of things just make us feel so good.

I've been doing some reflecting about this and have concluded that most close friends and family view us differently than we view ourselves. I think we are our own worst critics and those closest to us are our fan club. My guess, from what you have written here on the forum, is that people love you for who you are, Tawanda. Perhaps your weight has never been an issue to them because they behold your inner beauty! That beauty has not diminshed with the 30# you've shed.

They will notice your physical loss in due time!
