Thanks everyone! Hopefully I'll never again see 190 (or above) on my scale...(although, being this close to it, makes me a bit nervous that it might just blip back up another day or two  ).

Don't be nervous :) ;)

You are are too nice! :D Thank you!

Enjoying my coffee and contemplating what to do with my day. The weather is helping the decision to find something to do indoors which suits me just fine.

HE IS RISEN!!! I join with those of you who celebrate and rejoice on this incredibly wonderful day!!

I am excited about my roll call weigh in this week. I get a bit concerned when I have the stalls in my weight loss and I shouldn't as the scale has proven to me twice now. One stall was for 9 days and the second stall was 7 days I believe. Both stalls were (finally!) followed my nice daily weight losses. This latest stall ended with the scale showing .5, 1.5, 1# losses in the next 3 days. I was able to lose 3# this past week even with the scale seemingly stuck for most of the week. A wonderful blessing and one that I need to remember the next time the scale refuses to cooperate ;) when I know I've been compliant. I do hope that it works this way for everyone else, too, as it does get discouraging to not see the scale numbers change when we work so hard to avoid going off of the program.

My weight loss (according to Fitday) has been 3.01# per week. A great amount of weight to continuously lose. I'm still amazed and thankful as to how well this program is working for me.

Well.....I'd best get myself moving a bit faster this morning so I can be out the door to church soon.

May the day be filled with blessings for everyone!

Happy Easter!

It was a good day. We ended up being invited to eat dinner with some family, there was baked chicken offered and I made/took a green salad with lots of veggies. I just bypassed the rolls, pasta and other dishes that weren't on program along with turning down the brownies for dessert. I was thankful that the meat was baked without sauces, etc. and it made my compliance without having to divulge that I was on a program (I'm still enjoying that being my secret).

I'm down 25# and it isn't noticeable to others yet which kind of makes me a bit sad.....but then again, when people begin noticing and mentioning it---then the program won't be my secret any longer. ;) I wonder how many pounds I'll have to lose before someone notices? I will admit that I do dress in baggy layers sometimes (like tonight) so that my weight loss isn't obvious. Yeah, one of those "she isn't happy with no one noticing but she is also trying hard to hide it". If you figure me out, let me know what is going on inside my head. ;)

I'm doing this program for ME........and I'm enjoying the journey a lot. :) Not ready to have anyone, other than my DH and you guys, give me any input on it. There is a freedom and peace in just being surrounded by positive input about what I'm doing. Oh heavens! I'm not sure what I mean..........but I know this is the way I want it for as long as possible for some reason.

Tawanda, don't feel bad about no one noticing. Most of the time people are thinking about themselves and it was a holiday get together. Also, for myself, until I got some smaller clothing it was hard to tell even for me in the mirror because of the thick baggy layers we wear this time of the year.

I once heard that you have to lose at least 10% of your body weight before it becomes noticable to others. You are at that point now, Tawanda. Baggy clothes--clothes that no longer fit you--will certainly camouflage the loss. Once I started wearing clothes that fit (and I don't have very many :D ) my friends really started noticing. I've mostly gotten support, but it has been a "telling" experience with some of my friends. ;)

Yeah, me too. My one real girlfriend says nothing about my body just that my face has gotten so beautiful except for that "slight" double chin. People are so kind. And she knows exactly how much I have lost because she asks.

This is my fav experience, Biki: I lead a scripture reflection group on Wed. nites and some of the members were commenting on my weight loss. Then one of them looked at me and said, "Haven't you done something different with your hair?" Well, I had ... but what a diversion!

Same thing happened to me after losing over 100 lbs! The secretary at my dentist's office didn't recognize me and when I told her my name she acted all surprised and just said "Oh, I didn't recognize you. Did you change your hair style?" I just said "yeah, that must be it" I've known this person for well over 20 years, lol. She still hasn't said anything about my weight loss after 146 pounds. Me thinks the acknowledgment would force her to see herself.
