Oksoonergal, I think there is a fitday that is free but I purchased the CD years ago (before 2007) and just load it onto whatever computer I am using. At one point I did input all the info about the food I was eating, so that I could count calories, carbs, fats, etc....but that was all on my big PC, I did not want to go to all the work to input it on this laptop. So, I just use the weight recording/graphing features. I believe the CD was right at $20, back when I purchased it.

I'm tired tonight. Ready to put on my jammies and veg....

This morning my weight was back up 1#. Up. Down. Up. Down.. :? I don't care, if I did not weigh daily I might miss all those lovely new 'low weights' that show up and then disappear for a couple days.

Weight this morning is 160.5! Only 2 more pounds and I'll be in the normal BMI range and only 13.5# to get myself back to my goal weight. I am so happy and thankful to be on program, getting this extra weight back off. It is nice to feel pride in myself at the end of the day instead of beating myself up over actions that were detrimental, which was what I did for a very long time.

Hope everyone is having a nice weekend.

Back up .5# to 161 this morning. I'm not worried about any gains that happen. I'm on program and the weight is coming off no matter what the scale says day to day. Life is good!

159.5# this morning! I am thrilled to see the 150s on the scale once again. I believe my weight will fluctuate and I will see 160 pop up one or two more times before my weight drops down into the 150s a bit further....but it is great, today, to get to see that number on the scale.

Site is too quiet. :(

Hiya Ms T,

I am so happy for you. I just came on for the first time in like a month. And I read a couple pages. Seems like you are in the zone. And you are in the 150's awesome.

Keep on plugging

Thank you Katie and Oksoonergal!

It was nice to see some activity on the forum again. I am expecting that around Jan 1st we'll see some increased interest in the site, but I was very happy to see people posting. :D

159# today....hopefully my last day classified as 'overweight'.

Things are not going well in my life. I had a tough day yesterday only to come home and have a rotten evening. I laid in bed and cried a bit, in self-pity, over how life has gone the past year. One of the very few positives I could come up with, is that I've not turned to food to comfort myself the past 2.5 months, as I did the previous 7+ months. Maybe I will learn through this time (and remember it forever!) is that food won't make life's problems go away or easier, it just compounds my unhappiness. There has to be a silver lining for me in these clouds.....has to be. I've even thought about leaving my home, but I have nowhere to go. I do not see things changing for a long time, so I need to adapt as much as I am able, so that I and my marriage make it through this.

No one promised that life was going to be easy all the time.. and eating does not make the problems disappear or better.....eating heaps more pain into our hearts, minds and lives.

Be kind to yourself today and make healthy choices.

What a random, rambling mess of words......I'm in a funny mental spot right now--trying to figure out how to work through this time of my life and also reminding myself that I will only be more disappointed, sad and mad if I turn to food instead of continuing to take care of myself by getting the extra weight off.

My choices each day......in food, actions, words, thoughts.....are all that I can control. I will continue to work on making my choices wise, healthy, kind so that at the end of the day, as I cry in my bed, I'm not crying about how self-destructive I have been.

Life is often hard...... :bricks: but eating is not the answer.

158.0-158.5# My scale could not make up which it is :? .....so I always go to the higher number even though I want to record the lower one.

Normal BMI weight range!!! Finally! Now just 11.5# to get back to my goal weight... It will not happen before January 1st--but that is okay, I am feeling good about what I've accomplished in the last 2.5 months and know I will continue on until I get all the weight back off. This time, hopefully I've learnt some life long habits so that I will not allow myself to regain again. Only time will tell and I still have a lot of learning yet to do.

Thanks Joy. :) I know I cannot lose 11.5# in the next couple weeks, but I'm fine with whatever the scale says on January 1st--so long as it is not above 158.5# LOL... I'd love to be under 155 by Jan. 1st---but it will be whatever it will be.. I'll stay on program and do the best I can.

This morning 158.5# again. :)

159# this morning. Right back at 'overweight' on the BMI chart . I'll be glad when I've lost a couple more pounds and won't have to see 159 (or higher) on the scale again. ;)

Hope everyone is enjoying their weekend.
