Hey, T, just wanted to stop in and say hi. We miss you!! And I'm darn sick of being the only maintainer who's here regularly!!

Hello! Thanks Pam and Kanani for the 'hello'. :)

I have company here from Australia for a few weeks so am running around doing 'vacation' stuff.

I am doing great and will be back as soon as my company leaves.

Robin, I'm sorry!  I didn't see your note until just now!!!

I apologize for not being around more. Life has been full, hectic and interesting. I had a reaction to a bee sting (my first) ended up in the emergency department for treatment and gained 8# while on 4 days of high dose steriods. Lost 6# of the 8# yesterday (wouldn't that be heavenly if weight always came off in 6# chunks?!). I'm glad to be done with the steriods, it was the pits watching the scale numbers climb so fast. I knew it was the pred, but still didn't make me feel comfortable.

I also had company here for 16 days. They left yesterday afternoon so today is my first day back to 'my life'. Grandbabies will be here for the day so I'm still not getting 'free time' yet.......but it will happen soon.

Weight.......I'm so thrilled with MF and the ability to maintain my weight loss. I do want to get and stay a few pounds lower than 147---I still think it is doable and that I could stand to have a few pounds less on my body. Not positive how much more I want off....need to evaluate that as I lose.

Guess that is it from here......

Well, geez, I totally understand. I nearly DIED from my first bee sting, ya know. Anaphylactic shock, lost consciousness, the works.

Take care of yourself. And be aware (something they neglected to tell me at the time), you might be more sensitive for a bit. I started breaking out in hives and having allergic reactions to EVERYthing for months after the sting. Bath products, foods, the office Christmas tree ... everything.

Morning, T.! Can I just say how much I LOVE when you sound so happy with things and the plan and your weight loss / maintaining process? Sometimes it's good to just sit back and remind ourselves where we started and how freakin' cool it is to be where we are and to remember the journey that got us here. Hmm, that sounded cheesy, sorry! Ha.

Anyway, sorry about the bee sting, but glad to hear you're back in action.

Cheers,

Lauren

Hello! (and thanks Robin and Lauren)......an incredibly busy week here and next week will be the same. I'm doing the program for 80% of the day, but everyone knows that doesn't work at all as well as 100% compliance.

Hopefully I'll be back to posting more often, in about a week.

Hi T...
So sorry about the bee sting! I just wanted to thank you and Lauren both for your posts...I know I'm not where I want to be, but I'm SO glad I'm not where I was and thank you both for reminding me! I'm taking longer than most to get to where I'm going, but I'll get there, especially with inspiration from you guys!

Hi Miss T........

Thank you for thinking of me. Life has been a little crazy here too. I will be back on program starting september. Need to finish this thing once and for all. You want to hear something crazy I do so much better in the colder weather when I am extremely busy with work.

Hi Dede and Katie! It is so good to see you both back on the forums---you are missed when you are gone. Little Lizabette is back ---- I'm still missing some other posters and hope they return to us (Sojo, HB, Biki & Jo come to mind right off, but I know there are many others missing & missed).

I'm still a few pounds above 147, I keep thinking that I should make a ticker again, to shame me into sticking to program......I'll think on that one. It has been difficult here---2 members of my family are in the hospital right now. I'm the contact person for both of them so have been on the phone multiple times throughout the day. Thankfully I'm remembering the fact that 'food doesn't solve stress and in fact it adds to my stress when I've overeaten, made poor nutritional choices, when the scale numbers go up and my clothes are uncomfortably tight'.

Fast post and then off to drive my mother to an appointment. I'm doing well and hanging in there----hoping for the day where life slows down long enough for me to get back into posting more often.

I was thankful to see an update from Nancy, she is often in my thoughts as she goes through this difficult time caring for ailing parents.

Hello to all of you!

Still here, still using the products for a portion of my meals (it makes life so much easier!) and still maintaining although I'd love to be down under 147 and have wiggle room.

I still find myself reaching for comfort food when stressed---that needs to be addressed and stopped as there has been too much stress this year and I need to figure out another way of soothing myself (prayer, exercise......).

Thank you Pam. :)

I'm loving the infusors.....it is about the only way that I can get myself to drink water. LOL
