Good morning!

I don't know why I try to always take ownership of things that I have absolutely no right to take ownership of.......but I do, and I'm deciding to be done with that trait from yesterday to eternity! ;) Day two of my new determination and so far, so good.

Scale showed another .5# loss. I'll take it! I'm about a pound away from being out of the obese range on the BMI charts!! I'm excited about that, but it sure isn't something that I am trying to bring up in any conversations with anyone---so I have to mention it in my journal and let it be something that I smile about to myself when it happens.

I just looked at the BMI chart that I keep at the computer---to get from the highest weight considered 'overweight' to the highest weight considered 'normal' will be 32#. I've not been within that 'normal' weight range for 15 years ....... it is going to be so incredibly awesome to be at a 'normal' weight once again---and to stay there for the rest of my life.

I did update my ticker so I could enjoy hitting the 20# lost on the day it happened instead of waiting for roll call on Sunday....but I'll go back to updating it on Sundays. Thank you to Unca or whomever put me in the 20# club. :D What a boost that is for me to see when I log in here.

Oh! Fitday---a couple years ago, I bought the upgraded version. I no longer remember what extras you get (if any) when you buy it (it was just under $20 I think)........but I love using it, as so many others have mentioned. If you haven't found it just do an internet search for fitday or the address is fitday with just dot com after the fitday name. It is a great program for tracking the program.

Well.......time for a supplement! Hope the day is a great one!

Thanks Lizabette and Sue. :) I'm pretty tickled to see that 20# club there and cannot wait to see it change to 30, 40, 50, 60 and maybe even 70 or 80 ---- LOL I'm aiming big and planning on getting to goal! I'm still not positive where goal will be---I did have it as 135, but upped it to 140.......one of those "I'll have to wait and see what seems best" when the time comes. I cannot wait for that time to come!! :D

Hope it is a great day so far for both of you. I spent some time outside working today which put me behind a bit on my supplements and my water........but I'm working on the water now and will watch the clock closely so that I don't get myself any further off schedule.

Another .5# gone this morning. I love these morning scale surprises especially after seeeing no loss for so many days recently. I guess it was just my body acclimatizing itself to a new weight or some such thing. ;)

Thank you Katie---what a very nice compliment!

This morning I am officially no longer in the 'obese' section of the BMI charts!!!!!! I was surprised (and smiling) when the scale showed another pound gone this morning. WOW! These losses are so much more fun than those days where the scale didn't budge for so many days. :D I still have a lot of weight to lose, but I'm thrilled with my weight loss so far.

The sunrise was pretty this morning. Sky was deep blue and there was a streak of rosy pink within an area of white/blue clouds. One of those times when a camera just can't capture the colors as true and intense as they really are.

My finger joints hurt quite a bit this morning. I've had arthritis in my knee and this is what it reminds me of, but I've never had my hands/fingers hurt before. It is tender to touch and move sideways some of my knuckles (I know, don't move them sideways if they hurt, dumb Tawanda!). I was trying to do some knitting (making a felted handbag) and found it painful to hold the knitting needles. I took one of my anti-inflammatories this morning, hoping that a couple days of taking it will get rid of the pain. I didn't think about it stalling my weight loss efforts until just now. :x Hopefully it won't. Otherwise I'll just have to deal with aspirin or pain. ;)

Hope it is a good day!

I understand why some people don't weigh daily but even if I gain I want the information. And people like us who weigh daily get these little perks every day that scale moves! Sorry about your pain!

Oh, and congrats for no longer being obese. They were major milestones for me when I was no longer morbidly obese, obese and now just overweight!

What a long and hard day. I'm thankful that it is almost over. :D

Anti-inflammatory worked to ease the hand pain (thanks for the mentions about it)....I only mentioned it hoping that someone was going to say "gee, I've had that same problem since beginning this......" LOL even though I knew it wasn't possible that the program would/could cause joint pain. I just didn't want to admit that it probably arthritis showing up. :x ;)

Well, I think I'll do one more wipe down of the kitchen and then head to bed.

Up .5 this morning. Planning on having supplements on time (didn't yesterday--busy & wild day) and drinking more water (only drank my 64 oz). I also had canned green beans instead of my usual salad, so maybe the little bit of sodium is also a culprit in the tiny gain. Not concerned, just keeping the journal notes so I don't have to try to remember stuff. Guess I could use my fitday diary for these notes instead.

LOL Well, quit looking for me on Fitday! ;) I bought the CD version of Fitday so don't do it online, just do it on my 'puter.....

More company was here today so my supplement schedule was messed up again. :x I love having people drop by, but it messes my timing up. I need to buy some of the RTDs and stash a few of them in my bedroom so I can 'cuse myself for a moment and have one with no one being the wiser. ;)

Only about 40 oz of water so far, so I need to work on that and I've only had 3 supplements (normally would have just had my fourth one). Supplement #2 and #3 I had together........Hot cocoa and a bar. Grrrr!

Oh well, if this is the worst thing that happens today, then I'm pretty darn lucky! LOL

Hope everyone's day is going well. (my hands/fingers/joints don't hurt today!)
