I'm so frustrated with our internet provider! The service is in and out so darn much that I'd love to just tell them to cancel us. But if I do that, then I go back to dial up which was no better......the only thing dial up has over satellite is that it is almost $40 a month cheaper. Yeah, I pay premium dollars to have frustration.

Oh well.....I needed to break myself of so much computer time anyway.....LOL An answer to a prayer, just not in the manner which I was hoping/expecting/planning.

Weight this a.m. was 146# again. I was surprised it wasn't lower since I went to bed at 147.5# and got up 3 times during the night.. . LOL Oh well.....by roll call I should be seeing new-to-me numbers (I hope). It is my 4th day of 100% program compliant (well....except for the water, I only drank 50 oz. yesterday). I am struggling a bit today with hunger (Hey body, whatssup with that?!) so I had another cup of coffee with a bar and some PB2. I'm going to have to give up my multi-grain crackers I was planning on having in my chicken noodle soup at lunch since I had the PB2...and I may even give up the soup in favor of a shake, I'll have to compare the carbs and calories to see if there is a difference and need to adjust my plan. I can't believe I'm at the point of watching individual carbs and the difference of maybe 20 calories.....but I am. I want that darn 140# on my scale, in my ticker and of course, the gold goal/maintaing medallion (finally). :)

I love that the New Year gave me the needed boost to stick to program. I don't know why I wasn't doing it on my own consistantly......but I've always liked clean and pristine----so far in 2008 my Medi-fast journey has been 'clean and pristine'. You don't know (or maybe you do) how hard it was yesterday to not take bites of the babies' toasted cheese sandwich. Oh man it was tough. I popped a piece of minty sugar-free gum in my mouth and chewed HARD. I made it without having even a crumb, thankfully.

So.....for some reason today I'm hungry. I must not be in ketosis yet so will have to be chewing gum during the babies' snack and meal times. The coffee and bar/PB2 is helping, the hungries are easing. I have my water jug and just began drinking it (gosh but I hate drinking water).

So.......that is it from here.....now to go read what everyone else has been up to---if the internet connection holds. GRRRRR.

(Donna, I'm glad you are still here! Biki, good idea to put a prayer on my food journal page so I'm looking at it all day, thanks).

Ummmmmm, T? I think you answered your own question there. You've been compliant except you haven't had enough water ... and so you're hungry?

Robin I bet you are right and that is part of why I was hungry! I've drank 68 oz. of water so far today and now am enjoying a diet 7 up. Yummm!

My husband loves to make grilled cheese sammiches on the George Foreman and cut them into fourths (I don't know why) and LEAVE them there a while. With those little tiny bite-sized pieces of sandwich calling my name, it is torture. I just have to leave the kitchen and remind him that he has a sandwich to eat and it is gettting cold....(I realize a bite of grilled cheese would be acceptable to many people on maintenance, but I have chosen to do the WW Core plan for at least a while for some structure.)

146# again today. I sure hope the body decides to let go of some weight for tomorrow's roll call. I'm going to be growley if I've drank water (along with being program compliant, LOL) without getting that instant gratification (or at least weekly roll call gratification ;) ) that I expect (demand?).

Internet......it hasn't gone out (that I'm aware of) for a whole 24 hours!!! Maybe they have their equipment repaired? No cable, no DSL and no wireless internet available where I live. I feel fortunate to have the speed of the satellite over the dial up....but frustrated with the number of times it has been 'out' in the past 4-6 months. I hate paying $60 a month and not being able to use it when I want to. I shouldn't be grousing about it......no one likes whining.

Done whining!

Hello to ALL! See you at roll call tomorrow!

145# today!!! :D That is 2# less than last Sunday's roll call and 4# less than New Years Day's morning weight (don't ask about that one). Today is day 6 of being back on MF 5-1 plan 100% (welllllll, except for being 100% on getting in 8 glasses of water each of those days  ).

We have snow this a.m., just a little bit, and everything outside looks sugar frosted & pretty.

Hope it is a good day for everyone.

Congrats on your 2# loss...WOOHOO...only 5 pounds from goal...you have done so well....you'll be definitely hearing from me for advice.

Look forward in keeping in touch...also thanks for checking in with me when I :poof: disappeared.....and sorry I didn't reply...was kind of feeling ashamed that once again I failed. But I'm back and feeling determined.
