Ended up with just a trim (was pretty positive that was what I'd decide). The stylist said "your life is so busy and you don't have time to mess with your hair so keep it long and pull it back as you've been doing......" LOL---she made me sound more like a mom of young kids instead of a grandmother who babysits. But, I agree--right now I'm not ready for shorter hair that might need more than a brushing and scrunchie to get me through the day.
I did look at magazines and online for hairstyles, but most looked too much like something you'd see on a model runway and not real life in a country town hair styles. Maybe I'll do it (cut it short) in a couple months (dead of winter? brrrr!) after I've mull it over more and looked further. I'm hoping my skin will look less wrinkled and nicer in a few months.
My hair has begun falling out much more than normal. That concerns me a bit, but I also feel lucky that I've been on program for this long before it began happening.
This morning I'm below ticker (149) but still 1# heavier than roll call 2 weeks ago. The babies will arrive this morning and stay until tomorrow night so food challenges will be happening due to handling snacky things that they get and also how tired I become (my resistance to nibbling still gets lower when I'm stressed or overwhelmed). I've got 2 packs of sugar free gum sitting on the counter---easy to grab throughout the next 2 days as often as needed.
Mindset is great, devotion to program is back in full force, willpower is high, goal is near and expectation is excellent. Recipe for success is complete.
NSV (non-scale victory): had 2 recently. Bought 2 things from JJill recently. Size Medium dress and size Medium sweater........ both sent back because they were swimming on me. I don't know if their things run big all of a sudden or if I've lost more inches (guess I could check the inches, haven't done measurements for a very long time). Had to send them back with the return code of '24' (too big). LOL Felt lovely even though it is a pain in the patootie to send things back. Second NSV was seeing someone that one of my kids dated 12 years ago....loved this person's personality and was disappointed when they were no longer a part of our 'family' . When I said 'hello' they smiled but then looked confused and away. I had to tell them who I was....then got a huge hug and heard 'You've lost a lot of weight and look wonderful'. LOL
So...... Will check in as I can around the babies. They are climbing on furniture now (onto sofas, chairs and onto the top of the coffee table if I'm not stopping them).......so babysitting is a bit more challenging right now. LOL
Make it a great, compliant day!
