Hello QueenieLou (I watch for you, Robin & HB daily ;) glad to 'see' you!), Biki, Jo, Charity, Sojo, Lizabette (thinking of you!) and Pam....wow, so many popping in  .

We had blood here yesterday. One of the babies fell, cutting inside the lip with teeth. Little blood mixed with saliva/drool, but still made my heart beat faster for a few minutes. Roto-rooter out the arteries with the extra adrenalin rush when thinking it was worse than it was. All is well, no fat lip obvious and parents checked it out when they came to take them home. I'm 'off duty' until Friday so am trying to decide what needs to be done today or if I can have it to do some thing 'fun'. Don't know what 'fun' would be.......but I bet I could find some activity that would be enjoyable (anything other than grocery shopping, running errands, watching babies and cleaning house). LOL

Weight this morning is better-- 150 so thankfully 1.5 of the retention is gone. I still am 1# above my recent lowest weight but back .5 under my current roll call ticker.

There are quite a few new posts to read so I'd better get to it.....

I know how those little accidents can make your heart beat faster. Glad to hear all is well. Sounds like you just need some "you" time. How's the weather there? Maybe a walk in a park is called for. Of corse there is always the mall.

Good to hear you have a few days off. Then maybe your body will finally wrap itself around the 140"s.

Are we ready for winter??

Rodeomom, I'm trying not to shop unless I have the funds to pay for what I buy (I know novel idea) although I was really thinking about a trip to Nordstroms today to buy myself some thing nice..... I won't do it though.

HB, not ready for winter yet (thinking of hay). Hydralics on the guy's truck are now being worked on so it looks like next week. DH is getting antsy and worried, but I think the guy is honest and it has just been a series of weather, truck problems, etc. I'm not worried (yet ).

Biki.... Hi! Are you considering going back onto Medifast soon to finish up your weight loss or are you sticking with Weight Watchers from here on out? I cannot remember what your plan was (WW to goal or just WW for awhile until you felt at a better place with your food thoughts). I could go find what you wrote in your journal.......but that would take time, I'm lazy (no, not lazy just conserving my energy ;) ) so it is easier to just ask you. LOL

I've drank 32 oz of water so far today...excellent for me. I want to get solidly into the 140's soon..........heck, I want to get to GOAL soon!!

I think I am just sticking with WW since I have made the somewhat rocky transition to food over these past two weeks. I have lost 5 pounds this week and am only 6 pounds from my current goal weight and not having bulimic impulses so I think it makes sense to stick to what I am doing now. Once I started eating again it was never my plan to return to 5/1 except in an emergency. I can definitely tell that I will not be satisfied with my body in 6 pounds. Part of it is weight and part of it is fitness. I will keep my goal weight at 135 and continue jogging and doing at home strength training for now and hope that my body improves and I lose more weight. So even after I have lost 6 pounds, I will still definitely be a work in progress! I will celebrate reaching that goal but will know there is just a lot more work to do. I love those TV commercials for Nutrisystem where the woman says I went from a size 12 to a size 2! Well, I am a size 12 and will probably be a 10 quite soon, but I just laugh to myself and say maybe I should go on to Nutrisystem after Medifast and WW! I am apparently not "acceptable" yet! I will just keep on doing my best and be grateful for how far I have come. 115 lbs since last July. Never would have believed it was possible, so who knows what else I can do!~ Sorry for the long answer but that's what you get for being too lazy to read my journal.

Hi Tee,

Just wanted to drop by and say Hi. Hope you enjoy some days off, especially after the drama with the grandbaby accident. Sometimes you have to wonder how any of us survive to adulthood!

Biki, thanks for sharing your plan. My memory isn't so great, for some reason I thought WW was just for a short bit until you broke the binge/purge cycle. It sounds like you've thought it all through thoroughly and have a solid plan. Wishing you the best!

Mickey, it was a bit nerve wracking for a short bit, but no swollen lip showed up (figured it would have swollen immediately, but still had to ask about it later that night). They are taking 10-12 steps at a time, balancing like Frankenstein (Fraunken-stein? for the Young Frankenstein/Gene Wilder fans) so the toppling over or legs crumpling in mid stride is happening often. I know it won't take them long to master their balance and their legs will become stronger quickly. Their faces light up and they are so tickled with themselves when they take off walking. :D

150# again this morning for me. I stayed home yesterday and just puttered around with my sewing, etc. OH!! I ordered a size smaller in my current favorite jeans (stretch denim St. Johns Bay from JCPenney).....the big brown truck delivered them yesterday. I never thought they'd fit, but I braced myself and gave it a try. Up, zipped and wearable!!!! Size 6!!!!! I was doing a happy dance! LOL

That is the news from here....

Size 6!!!!! I don't think I was even a size 6 at birth! ;)

Well it is no surprise after seeing that tiny hiney in the photos. (OK, nobody get worked up over the spelling of hiney, I am not going back in the thread to figure it out!)

I tried and tried to take photos of me in the jeans but cannot get a good pic in the mirror.....badly blurred or too dark without flash and with the flash you can't see my reflection. I am wearing the jeans and even breathing easily while sitting down ;). I love this brand of jeans!

I have a pair of early to mid 1990's Guess jeans in size 6 (they were one of my children's when they were in high school). I saved them because they were cute and tiny......thinking that I'd love to be able to wear cute little jeans like that some day (yeah, in my dreams). Well............yep, up, on and zipped!!! Since they are the heavier denim without any stretch, they are a bit too snug to wear, I think.......but they do zip without threat of putting someone's eye out when the zipper teeth gave way. LOL

I love that I can wear cute clothes again!
