Like I said, the same thing happens to me. Maybe it is the sodium?

Mickey, I remember you sharing that you had a gain after eating the Jennie-O Turkey burgers....and it happened to me once before, too. I like Biki's new name for them. ;) :D

I sliced up some deli turkey breast for my lean last night......drank only about 40 oz of water....and weight stayed the same (154.5). I hate reporting any gain, no matter how small, for roll call. I'm .5 higher than I was last week.

So........that is the report from here. :)

I eat a lot of deli meat because raw meat has started to gross me out. Living with a vegetarian for 5 years I guess. But I drink about 104 oz of water a day. The only raw meat I buy is boneless skinless chicken breastuses.

You have my condolences!

Biki I think of you each time I drink some water....

Jo, yeah, I know the deli meat has quite a bit of sodium in it, too. I bought it for the babies, reading labels for the least sodium one I could find.....but still has a substantial amount. I'll bake up some chicken tonight and avoid the more processed stuff...

Same weight (154.5), different day - which is fine and I'm okay with it - just boring as all heck to report daily.

The sun is shining, the day sounds like it is going to be laid back here and that is all the news. Babies here tomorrow -- oh and my oven is not fixed, tried to bake some frozen chicken breasts yesterday and they did not bake............soooooooooo, I'll call the repair man to come back. It will probably be that he has to replace the clock unit that is the 'brains' of the oven (touch pad/digital oven) and I was warned that it costs over $260 -- gulp. :x Oh well.......if that is what it needs, then that is what I have to buy. :?

Yeah.........that stuff can be expensive!
Our central heat and air went out last summer and it cost over $6,000 to replace ~ then our entire fuse box had to be replaced, 'cause the new a/c unit was too big for it! That was another $1, 500, or so......but you can bet your sweet patootie that we're loving it this summer with all the triple-digit days we've had! And yay, all the lights stay on when the a/c is on now!!

What bites is when things go all at once. A few years ago our hot water heater, clothes dryer, dishwasher and roof all needed to be replaced. As soon as we got everything installed, our back fence blew down! :x

Enjoy the rest of your day off, Mizz T!!

House repairs, ugh! Our heat pump is 20 years old and making some horrible (loud) noises. I'm just humming and 'gnoring it as best I can. If it dies, we'll have a funeral (well, there will be lots of sobbing and lamenting anyway) and then we'll be replacing it. Until then.....I'll think about it tomorrow (or whenever it dies). Hot water heater=20 years old, heck, everything is 20 years old (except me and DH, LOL)....sure hope things don't start dying left and right. The oven is only 15 years old......too young to have bits and pieces dying on it.

I just gave one of the dogs a bath......he's so stinky and has crusty skin lately. Looks like a trip to the vet...... I found two warty looking lumps on him, also. About the size of pencil erasers....sure hope they are something benign. So.......it looks like some financial expenditures will be in my future. :? Could always be a lot worse.....Lots and lots worse...

Seems like house and car repairs are just never ending! As soon as we stopped working the clothes dryer pooped out, then a couple months later it was the refrig. Had to replace both. The other day some little part in the middle of the Jeep transmission quit working, part was $20, labor to get to it was $1500. :x Speaking of pooped out (pun intended  ), now our leech field on the septic system is failing, to the tune of 10 grand! Geeez.

Ouch! Those are some expenses! I was mad about the new refrigerator a few months ago but really have nothing to complain about. And also getting a new fridge is kind of nice...whereas you just want a septic system to do its job and not give you any problems. Well, Mickey, at least you can look glamorous and thin now saying "Woe is me!"

118 oz of water drank yesterday = 5 trips during the night  5!!!

LOL

But the scale showed 153.5 this morning so the 5 trips were worthwhile. Now to see if I can keep going on the water consumption.

DH took a vacation day today, babies should arrive in about 15 minutes and I'm still working on my first cuppa of the day.......slow start this morning here.
