I hope to be an encourager to you through your journey. We all need people here with us to help nudge us along. Some days (like yesterday), it seems so hard to just keep your head up and move forward. But, with the help of the people here, it just seems a little easier to say, "I CAN DO IT!"

You're doing great!!!!!

Well my mood isnt the perkiness right now. I feel like it's gonna take forever for all this weight to come off. I know it didnt appear overnight, but i look at things online that I want and everything I am looking forward in doing in my life, and use it as motivation, but sometimes it depresses me b/c I know i have a long time before losing all this weight. I am ready to move on from this long overdue chapter in my life and I feel like its just slowly draggin along. I know I am a downer right now.I'm not looking for sympathy just felt like saying it outloud. I do try my best to stay postive, but after all I am only human.Anyhoo I am just rambling...

Believe it or not, Debra, when you are done, you will look back and say how fast the time went!

Yes, and no matter what, the months are going to pass whether we like it or not... whether they seem fast or slow. They will just keep going on their own time. And, if you just keep going as you have, you will be experiencing a difference in your life because of it.

Hang in there :). In the meantime, you have this wonderful place and your other interests to pass the time :).

Thanks Jo and Karli---
I guess I was just having a moment.Tuesday starts my fourth week on MF. So yeah this is the longest I have stayed with a new healthy lifestyle. I am happy despite my mood. The last couple days I have had to make myself eat my afternoon snacks for I havent felt hungry.Anyone else experience that? I have still been and will remain 100% compliant. I am also a little nervous about exercising this week, I dont want to stall at losing.I am afraid no matter how easy I take it, I'll stop losing. These are all just my worries right now.I just hope my body transitions well with the exercise.I am gonna stick with what Beth suggested and stop at 150 cals on the elliptical. If anything I will drink an extra shake if I need to.

Debra, I hated it when I was young and people said things to me like, when you're older your understand, but just humor me for a bit. Like Karli alluded too- Time passes, there is no way we can stop that. When we are younger, things do seem to go in slow motion. Now that I am in my 30's, whole years zip by. But 6 months or a year will pass for you whether you lose weight, stay the same, get green hair or join the Marines. Time passes. How profound. But it does. You have the luckiest opportunity to do something constructive and directed with that time. I suspect that if you stick with it you will be glad you did the rest of your life.

Where is the Medifast rule that we have to eat snacks? We have to have our supplements and L&G but snacks, especially if not hungry, are optional. Don't give yourself something else to feel down and stressed about! Take it easy.

Sorry I should have said it differently..

I go like this with my meals for the day

bf-shake
am snack- bar
lunch-soup
pm snack-oatmeal or pudding
din-l&g
dessert-hot drink or pudding

Some times I dont feel up to eating my PM MF snack.I still do of course.Sorry should have explained that better.I dont eat the free snacks at all. However I did buy the pickle spears tonight...wondering if that would be good to eat or not.I am not worried about them.I figure when I need a munchie moment they will be there.

And I dont mind any advice. To get things I want or goals to triumph it takes forever...but years of doing nothing definitly dont mind going by fast. But that goes for everyone in life. I just tend to be a little impatient at times...and we'll I want this so bad I can taste it ya know? I cant wait to see myself in 6 mos.and where i will be. Exciting and nerve wracking and even a little scary. But it'll happen b/c I only plan on going foward. And whether andyone likes it or not...life happens.
Thanks Biki for you words of wisdom. :)

Sorry for not understanding your "snack" terminology. Most mornings I don't want my first or second supplement I just want coffee and water. Today was different, I was hungry. But I typically don't want the first two or the last...

WEEK 3-DAY 7

Well today is the last day of week 3! Cant wait to start exercising tomorrow, despite my worries on stalling. It'll be great when I can look in the mirror and start seeing the definition in my thighs again, like when I worked out in the past.I slept pretty good last night. And my friend is coming back to work today after being gone this week from her father passing. So it's probably gonna be a rough day for her.And my schedule is back to norm now so thats okay I guess.Other than that my schedul is as follows:

715-shake
1015-bar
100-soup
400-oatmeal
700-L&G
900=drink

Hope everyones day is well. :)
