Haha good for us that you're on the net while working :-P ;)

IMHO, you should hit 20 lbs lost before Valentine day, you already lost 13 lbs I think? Well, continue to carefully follow the program and it should be nothing :)

Have a nice day!!!

So I just had my oatmeal...I am tired...and bored. Quite a combo huh?

Im glad they havent blocked this site yet...they probably will eventually. My job at my company is, relieving our two receptionists three times a day, and when not doing that I sit in a cube an answer calls. Whether we have a busy day or not its a thoughtless easy job I have been doing for 2.5yrs. This year is the year for change for me and my job is right up there with my weight on that list. So yeah the internet keeps me a little occupied. But I can only surf so much until there is nothing left to look at.I usualy read magazines and or books but dont have anything really up to date right now.And since my friend isnt here this week its extra quiet.

I did bring my one toy to work...Magic 8 ball....Earlier this morn my other prego co-worker and i were asking it questions while she was sitting with me.It makes the time pass...or we've been doing Mad Libs. People that walk by and think what they want but I wish I had there job and there paycheck.I would gladly trade with them for i miss working...

Okay done rambling.....

Sorry to hear that you are bored - but happy to hear that you are doing so well on the program. I'm definitely predicting that you'll make and surpass your V-day goal. What kind of books are you into?

I totally understand about the whole blocking website thing....

the day they monitor my activities will be a tough one for me! I'm SURE they would block this forum website!! but until then.... ssshhhh :secret: .... i like being able to surf the forum all day at work!

what about taking advantage of the free time you have at work for distant learning education? I keep saying i'm going to take some college courses online cuz i have the time to do homework at work, but of course something else is always going on! I need to kick myself in my own butt! i know HCC offers classes online.... this other guy at my job does it and says its cake.... i don't know if you already have your degree or anything, but maybe cuz we are close we could try and 'tag team' a class to keep each other on top of it? i don't know... just an idea!

hope tomorrow is not so boring! (when you are doing mad libs, at my job we are racing to see who can finish a sudoku puzzle the fastest for $1 a game... crazy!)

WEEK 3- DAY 3

Well I bought a new magazine to read today so I shouldnt be too bored. I also submittd my resume online, a couple times, last night. So here's hoping to that or at least an interview.

QT-As far as school goes, I am finally ready to go and lack the funds.I am stubborn and dont want a loan. I want to pay as I go along. So I want to save as much as possible from now till then and hopefully I will be able to go. I would go to SPC to start.Which is why I am trying to get a better paying job. What I make I cannot survive on.Which is why I moved back in with my parents, almost 3 yrs ago...trust me thats hard to do.But school is much later. I try not to think that far ahead...its stresses me a bit.Cause my plans seem to always change. :)

eskwyre-As far as books, I read some that are inspirational, I love Chick-Lit.,and I read some biographys. But I LOVE LOVE Magazines:Cosmo,Glamour, and Self are all my faves. But I will also read Marie Claire,Redbook, INStyle, and whatever else that catches my eye.I am a magazine addict!!! Its my guilty pleasure!

So my food plan is as follows:

630-shake
930-bar
1230-soup
330-oatmeal
630-L&G
930-Cocoa

Just found out I am being invited to a nice restaurant tomorrow for lunch, since I have done a good job here at work this week. So I have to look at the menu and plan my L&G for the day...hope everyones day goes well...catch ya's later!!!

I hear you on the funds for school... through HCC it ends up being around $200 a class... books i find online at half dot com so i save some money there.

Good luck with lunch tomorrow... i'm in the same situation. We are going to outback for a retirement luncheon, but i'm already planning a small steak and veggies w/ my own ICBINB w/ water to drink. As long as they cook my steak right and its seasoned good, I'll be happy! i like my steaks med rare... and most places end up overcooking. what a waste IMO!

Have a good day reading your mags!!

Sounds good. Just make sure you ignore any "eat me, eat me!" voices. (I am sorry but that just really cracked me up when you posted it over in Karli's journal!)

That is what I had last night- london broil- made super-rare with garlic on top- and sliced so thin that you could see through it. YUM

When I was a little girl, I called it "line meat" because of the way it was sliced and it was my favorite!

Happy friday Debra :)

The hardest part of going to restaurant is resisting to small thing like bread or dessert I think :) Get a good chicken breast and both you and your body will like it :)

Have a good day!

Thanks Rick...:)

Yeah I always nix the bread or the croutons on a salad now...no more mashed garlic taters either.I feel like I cant see anything but my goal, like a straight endless highway with nothing in my way...finally I am not getting in my own way.I refuse to play that game again, I have done it way too many times. And now my pants are feeling loser. Definitly gives me a boost!
