Dear Lisa in NY ~

Why would you want it when you could have a nice serving of Medifast Hot Cocoa with (or without!) Marshmallows?

Each packet of the Medicocoa has 14 grams of protein
4 grams of fiber
14 carbs

The program is designed to have all the necessary macronutrients we need by having 5 packets per day plus the lean and green meal. When we follow the plan just as it is written, we weigh the meat portion and measure the vegetables, we will lose the most weight in the shortest amount of time with minimal craving. I guess I am not very sympathetic, eh? and you know my motto, "Don't mess with Medifast!"

Plus the Medicoca contains a load of the RDA of vitamins and minerals:
Vitamin A (25%)
Vitamin C (35%)
Calcium (25%)
Iron (30%)
Vitamin D (30%)
Vitamin E (20%)
Vitamin K (20%)
Thiamin - Vit B1 (35%)
Riboflavin (35%)
Niacin (25%)
Vitamin B6 (35%)
Folate (30%)
Vitamin B12 (25%)
Biotin (20%)
Pantothenic Acid (25%)
Phosphorus (15%)
Iodine (30%)
Magnesium (20%)
Zinc (20%)
Selenium (20%)
Copper (30%)
Manganese (40%)
Chromium (30%)

Well, Little Darlin'...again, I'd avoid adding other little 'extras' along the way and would prefer that you stick to the approved snacks...Swiss Miss isn't one of the approved snacks. Therefore, you are on your own and if the scale doesn't perform the way you want it to, then definitely eliminate the extra in between meal goodies.

OK, I found the place where I read about the drinks - this is from a post by explorthis:

I'm just trying to get all the info I can - it's gonna be a long cold winter here in the Northeast!

Free Foods: (taken from Medifast Lifestyles book)

A free food is any food or drink that contains less than 20 calories or less than 5 grams of carbohydrate per serving. Foods with a serving size listed should be limited to 3 servings per day. Foods listed without a serving size can be eaten as often as you like.

The drink you listed has 25 calories...again...eat and drink it as you like, but I would not suggest that you do for best weight loss.
