Well, I certainly had a "Doh!" moment yesterday. So I'm going along day to day thinking I'm doing everything right. I've been using I can't believe it's not butter spray in my oatmeal for the longest time and in the last week have started adding it to everything. The bottle says 0 calories, 0 everything. So, I'm thinking cool, this is great. So this week I'm gaining weight, slowly, but gaining. This is the first time since I began this I've gained ANY weight so I'm thinking something is weird. Not TOM or anything like that. So I start examining what I'm doing. I finally get around to the I can't believe it's not butter label and look at the ingredients. Soy oil, buttermilk. Hmmmmmmm So I says to myself, self, how can there be no calories with those ingredients. I do a little research on-line and find that in just a few spritzes there's no calories but, as you use more and more the fat and calories add up pretty quickly! Arrgghhhhhhhhhhh Yeah, for the whole bottle there's something like 900 calories and 90 grams of fat.
Well, this certainly explains a lot! Well, at least I found the problem. I should have known better. It tastes too good so I should have known too good to be ok. Well, I'm cutting it out. I'm so sad. I love my butter spray. But I won't miss it much when the weight loss picks back up though. I could just kick myself! So, hopefully no one else is doing this too. Thought I'd post this as a public service announcement.
