I'm sorry you have to do more travelling right away. Is that normal for you, or is this just a busy time? I hope you get some time at home soon. And I hope you enjoyed the shower. Nothing like it at the end of a hard day, is there?

Thanks, Nickie! I don't travel this much normally but my company has a lot going on this quarter. Given the state of the economy, I really shouldn't complain!! I'm thankful to have a job that I love and allows me to support my child!

Well, I worked out again today! 40 minutes - 40 HARD minutes - on the treadmill. I felt great - - Gee, I forgot how much I love to sweat :) I always feel better when I sweat! Yee-Haw!

I was 100% compliant today and I am 100% back on track. I think I'm even getting rid of the water retention from the travel....so it sucks that I fly and it takes 3 days to get rid of the water and then its time to fly again :) but again, I'm not complaining - - I love my job :-) AND I love the house it pays for - hee hee

I'm so swamped that I really don't have time to read journals. I'm so sorry - - maybe life will settle out soon!

Yes, water retention stinks - BUT at least you know why you might be up on the scale from time to time. I find having something to blame it on helps me mentally get past the numbers. Be good and get some rest while you're home!

Today is DAY 24 (if I counted right :) ) and I'm down an even 15 pounds! Hmmm, I'll take it!!! My clothes are already feeling better! I'm more and more motivated to stick to this thing so that's good!!

I did 50 minutes (added 10) on the treadmill yesterday alternating between a fast uphill walk, jogging and walking at a full incline in my target heart rate zone. I hope I'm doing this right - LOL. I was HUNGRY after my work out for sure! I can tell when my body starts really kicking in to over burn because I get the hungries :). I won't complain - - esp when the scale goes down! I took my measurements yesterday (24 days late but better late than never) so I can see how those shrink too :)

OK, I gotta get to work - - The bus lady has a busy day planned :)

So lately every time I read "Susie Q" I start singing the song in my head. It's a good song so I don't mind - but it's only in the last few days. Weird, huh?

That exercise sounds tough - intervals are the way to go, I hear, so it sounds like you're doing it right. 15 pounds in 24 days, too - that's almost 5 pounds per week! Congratulations on sticking to it for so long, and getting right back on the horse after that little oops on your last trip.

Have a good one (day, trip, workout, whatever it is I hope it's good)! :lol:
