SUPER SWEET?

I just wondered if anyone else had this problem: My mother cooks fresh veggies and always puts a pinch of sugar (splenda now) and I used to just love her veggies, now they taste too sweet for me, so sweet that I don't eat them. She has asked me how they are and I tell her I can't eat them because they are too sweet, but I am sure to tell her it is my taster not her feelings (you know mom's are super sensitive, mine anyway)

I haven't noticed. I am not much of a sugar eater though. My problem has always been "real" food. Steak, potatoes, corn, black eyed peas, bread, cheese, you know...Southern food. :mrgreen: :mrgreen:

It's funny, my problem has always been the MEDIFAST stuff tasting too sweet. I've spent so much time dieting and especially low-carbing that I wasn't used to eating so much sweet stuff. In the beginning, everything was either too sweet or too salty.

I'm a little concerned that it's NOT anymore, actually. The last thing I want to do is develop a taste for sweets.

I'm the worlds worse sugar whore. Mostly chocolate...NOTHING could EVER be too chocolatey for me! :D
