Down an ASTOUNDING 2.3 this morning for a grand loss of 109 even. That would have taken me 4 years, 2 months and a week on any other program. And with Take Shape for Life and the Medifast products, it's taken me 1 year, 2 months and 1 week!
I can really relate to bdg's (Brian's) commnets on the Maintenance Call last Wednesday with Nancy regarding his experiences and insights about body image, self-concept and reactions from (and responses to) others. Mickeyz, go gentle on yourself. Down is down, right? (In fact, as long as it's not up, I'm content!) And anytime we increase our exercise, the muscles will retain water (which will throw the scale off a tad). AND the muscle you build is more dense than the fat you lose, so the end result is that there's more weight in a smaller amount. Remember the scale is only ONE measure of how you're getting fitter, trimmer and healthier.
