Maura-

I have suffered a time or two with that wonderful problem myself. :x I have stopped using the bars as one of my supplements. I have 3 shakes a day and 2 oatmeals. Nancy is right on about the MF oatmeal. I have not had a problem since- I switched about 2 weeks ago. I feel so much better now. Hope you get relief soon! ;)

I had to move to the more "potent" stuff to get things moving. Nancy mentioned Dulcolax, and I took two last night before bedtime, and after a trip to the loo this am, I am 2.5 pounds lighter.....yahoo!!!!

(hope that wasn't too graphic!!).

Thanks Nancy for the call, the info and the support!!! It is always appreciated.. I enjoyed our chat very much.

BTW- I eat oatmeal every day, and rarely have a bar, so I believe it is just the way my system is. But having something that can give relief in 8 hours is a godsend!!!

thanks everyone,

Maura

I have found that popping 4-5 sugarless hard candies will do it-- all that sorbitol I guess. guess I'll have to order myself some oatmeals! thanks for all the good advice you all! nancy

nance ~

That Sorbitol could power a nuclear weapon facility and light up the northwest...Sorbitol can cause stomach distress and a major gaseous blow out for many...look out, People!

Sugar-free does not necessarily mean gas-free and for folks that are having rock problems…it could be :bricks: dangerous to be in their vicinity.

:runner: Run for your lives, People! thar she blows!!!

Wow, incredible things happening over here this week. Did we vote Christi, Miss Congeniality already? :goteam:

Eddie, 20lbs in 2 weeks is awesome! :kool:

Congrats to everyone losing and cleaning out their pipes (that is all I have to say about that! )

Anyway, I had 3 big milestones this week.

1. I broke my 2lb a week plateau, and lost 4lbs!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

2. I am now a member of the #20 club...setting my sights on the 30!!!

3. I am officially a size smaller, no doubt about it!!!

So I've been on cloud 9 ever since seeing the scale this morning. As a side note, my mom is going to try MF!!! YAY! She has yo-yo dieted for so long, and never seems to get anywhere. I wanted her to try this with me but I think she wanted me to be the "tester" and now she is a believer! :D

So I think she is starting mid-June after she gets back from a Carribean trip (she JUST last week got back from Ireland, must be a rough life, huh?) Anyway, I'm so pleased that she is ready to MF with me!!!
