GREAT JOB, EVERYONE! You are all winners (and losers,) no matter what the scale shows!
Just being here is an NSV...how exciting!

I'm at 131.9, still lower than my original goal of 135#, not quite at my 2nd goal of 130#!
Gonna make it, just like the rest of you...

Hi everyone. I was away yesterday and this morning, so I couldn't weigh in, but I weighed yesterday so I'll count that. I am continuing to maintain at 2-3 pounds below my goal.

Keep up the good work, friends.

Congrats to all the losers and maintainers. :D

Thanks, Lara. I'm curious to see what next week brings since it will be my first full week without grains.

Diana in Onederland
How do you get to Onederland
Water and shake, one in each hand
(Insert witty, corn-free 4th line here that rhymes with "and")

Alice's pills, cakes and teas can't beat this!

Down 2.8# and a weigh in of 199.8. I haven't been here in about 20 years. Your support, the high of realizing mini-goals, your encouragement, the knowledge that I've got my life back, your inspiration -- those are my emotional fuels. (Chief among the collective "you," of course, is my dh  Mike  .)

Biki -- feel better soon, love.

Way to go, Medibuds! Another great weigh-in this week! I love Sundays -- reading the roll call, purusing the studio -- really helps get me pumped for a healthy week.

Those who are exercising, remember that muscle tissue is more dense than fat, so the same volume WILL weigh more. Don't stress about the scale if you're feeling healthier, your clothes are feeling loser, but the blasted scale says "MORE." Triangulate your data; rely on more than one source and you'll get a much more precise and accurate picture of what's going on. I know most of us don't (I among them), but body measurements can really be inspiring.

Thanks, guys, for celebrating with me. I'm still pinching myself!

Mike wrote:Can you tell that she is a frustrated science teacher?

Frustrated?!? Might I remind you, dear hubster, that of my 17 years in public education and 12 in the classroom, this is the FIRST year I HAVEN'T taught science??

Ok, well, I can see where you might get the impression, then, that perhaps now I'm a frustrated science teacher. I miss my beloved science classes.

Nevermind.
