Sunday Morning Roll Call: December 31, 2006

Join our weekly (Sunday) weigh in.

Postby Karli » December 31st, 2006, 9:53 am

WOOOOOOOO HOOOOOOOOOOOO.... way to go everybody :). I am not weighing in because I am somewhere without a scale (and have decided to wait for next Sunday, as well), but I just wanted to give a congrats to all of you hard workers and for all of you whom are sticking with it :).

Special congrats to Nickie for her first official Sunday Roll call. 8 pounds in 3 days is great :).

Cheers,

Congrats to everyone!! :D
I am down 1 lb this week. After my slip up on Christmas I had to work like crazy to make it to this weight.
I have felt my resolve slipping several times this week, but have made it through ok...If I can make it through New Year's Eve, I'll be really excited.
I am normally a Monday weigher, but I will have company tonight into tomorow, so I wanted to check in today!

A loss is still a loss...Onederland is one big tease! :x

Way to go, everyone! Looks like we're weathering the holiday's fairly well. Given that most of the country gains 3-8 lbs during this time of year, hey, look where we are!!

I'm down 5.5 lbs from the last time I reported to Roll Call for a total loss of 95.5.

Here's to a new year filled with unexpected blessings and joys.

Well, after weeks of not reporting in (due to many indiscretions and some gaining  ), I am back here.
I was off plan over Thanksgiving and then could never quite get 100% compliant :x (typical as they say). I tried to get back on, then Christmas came, and I was pretty much totally non-compliant. I had fought to lose what I had gained during Thanksgiving, then I gained that and more on Christmas.
The good news..... I have worked hard this week to be on plan and have lost everything that I had gained, and one more. :D
So, after weeks of no movement to the ticker... I finally get to move it again. :yay:
I'm at 277, which is 68 lost with Medifast and 183 since I started this whole journey back in July of 2003. :whoohoo:
Have a great week everybody

P.S. - Nickie, just remember that you lose more than normal your first week. Don't get frustrated when you don't see the total next week that you had this week. ;)

I know, Mike - I have to keep telling myself that, though, because I'd like to see 2 or 3 pounds a week and I know I may not even see that much, so I have to stay strong and not base my self-worth on that little scale!

Nickie - I have been meaning to say hello to you...you are doing so great and I have enjoyed reading your journal! You have such a great attitude going in to this.
Like everyone else says...just take it one meal at a time!
I'm trying very hard to not base my self-worth on the numbers on my scale! I am a very slow loser, so sometimes it's easy to get discouraged...but we can do this!!!

Happy New Year! :D

Way to go all you losers out there, and maintainers, and fighters of the good fight.

Despite a rather painful (had another attack yesterday evening!) and tumultuous week I'm happy to report a 3 pound loss. Truth is... I think I'm going to have to go on the 6/0 at least until my surgery... Seems like my last lean and green (Grilled chicken breast and veggies at Outback with my family) triggered another GB attack. So........ I'm sticking with the liquids until after the surgery on Tuesday.

Shooting to be down 120 pounds by then.

Again, congrats to you all. You are all my role models.

Carmel

Congratulations & Happy New Year Everyone!

I went to the doctor on Friday and she was practically jumping up and down with glee because the scale showed that I have lost exactly 100 pounds! :whoohoo: Also, my blood pressure is normal and that is a good reason to dance. :yay: I am going in for a complete physical on January 30 but I am very optimistic about what the results will be. I am getting tested for thyroid issues because my doc thinks that might be what is causing the hair loss and joint pain. :idontknow:

I still have a lot of weight to lose and I am changing my goal to a lower weight but I am happy and optimistic about the future.

Happy New Year!

Congrats to everyone that lost this week, congratulations to everyone that maintained this week and to those of us who gained this week...so what? Let's get back going and start this new year off with a bang!

Still scared to weigh after falling into the bottle of vodka. Maybe Tuesday. I just don't want to know. I guess I'll weigh when I feel like weighing! At least I'm not weighing 12 times a day like I usually would be doing!

I've been seriously off plan for the past two weeks. The first week, I didn't gain and didn't lose. This week, I gained 3 lbs. I also noticed that I was having tummy aches during that time and just not feeling well. I am officially back on plan as of today and hope to be at goal by my birthday in April. This morning I tried a new MF pancake recipe that tasted like gak and had to be scrapped. Wound up with BT's banana custard, which was quite tasty as usual. I feel better and more in control already. I also have some new exercise DVDs that I am looking forward to using. It's time to get back on the horse, and now that we're out of the holidays, I should be good to go.
Good luck and happy new year to all!!

ok, confession here: I definitely wouldn't have gotten on the scale and probably wouldn't have shown a loss if I hadn't been sick for the last two days. So, there you have it. I'm an imposter in the loser category...at least this week. After my (ahem) unposted 7# gain of last week, that means I've lost 12 this week, but I know a part of it is completely empty bowels and a bit of dehydration.

I'm a posting late today... but still maintaining under goal.
It's so great to see all of you really in there trying even though there have been some off plan things going on!
The point is, you are being accountable and sticking in there.
Congratulations to all of you!
We each have the new year ahead of us, so it can be the greatest ever.
You have already resolved to get healthier and thinner...
So you can look forward to reaching goal THIS YEAR!
